“My husband and I are from Maryland. We traveled to Nashville, NC to visit family. On Monday, 5/20, my husband and I drove to Knightdale , NC (35 miles) to run some errands. On our way back to Nashville, NC, the transmission in our 2013 Nissan Armada wouldn’t go into gear and was profusely leaking transmission fluid. We called 1 towing company in Knightdale who gave us a 60 - 90 minute ETA. They never showed up. While still stranded, we called a 2nd towing company who gave us the same ETA (60-90 minutes). They never showed up. After that ETA expired, we called Kimball’s Towing & Recovery (Knightgale, NC). The dispatcher gave us a 45 minute ETA. Kimball’s driver, Bruce, actually arrived in about 30 minutes and got to work immediately. He loaded and secured our Nissan, Armada on the flatbed skillfully. He towed our vehicle and drove us to the Nissan dealer in Nashville,
NC. He was extremely professional and personable. We engaged in friendly discussions during the entire towing trip. The 35 mile towing trip felt like a 15 minute pleasant drive. So much so, that we forgot that we had stressful car issues that awaited us. Bruce was awesome and has the right personality and demeanor to diffuse a stressful situation. Thank you, Bruce, for making a stressful situation much less stressful! My husband has solicited several towing companies in MD and said Kimball’s was the best towing experience that he had ever had.
