The store was almost empty of product, and full of red shirt staff members roaming around. However they couldn't manage to have anyone on register. Self checkout has a clear sign stating 10 items or fewer. After over 10 minutes waiting with more than 10 items, most of which are refrigerated and frozen for someone to come to the register I get informed that I "can use self checkout because they aren't staffed". I saw plenty of staff so that seems like a lie. The employee made me feel stupid for following their own posted signage, and I can't say that I will continue to shop at at least this location. It's gone real downhill and no one wants to fix it

Do not use the online ordering.
Placed an order saying it would be ready within two hours, and got an email about 90 minutes later saying it was ready for pickup. When I arrived at the store (right around the 2hr mark), the employee scanned the pickup barcode on my phone and then directed me to stand in a group of people. It seems that they hadn't even started picking our orders yet, so I had to wait another 15 minutes for them to pick my order from the shelves and bring it over.

Update: I wanted to update my review upon my latest visit! I visited this Target to buy some clothes with my mom. My visit was amazing! The staff is so kind and friendly! The store is very clean and well stocked, and I also had a great time visiting. Every associate I interacted with was very pleasant and kind! The ladies in the fitting room department are so kind and cheerful. I can’t remember his name, but the associate at the register we checked out at was so friendly!! He made my mom and I feel welcome, and he made very enjoyable conversation with us! I wish I had gotten his name so I could mention him in this review. He was so, so sweet and so cheerful and accommodating! I definitely will stop by again if I’m ever in town. :)

HEADS UP TO ALL PARENTS:
This location does not honor the Cat & Jack return policy. I brought in an item with a receipt and within a year of purchase and was not permitted to return it.

I just want to say how impressed I was with Jeremy at the service desk as well as the other two ladies assisting him. I can't say enough about how professional and polite he was to me in helping me with my SodaStream replacement dilemma even though there were none at this store he called and made sure the store in Garner had 2 put away for me. He will do well in his future and he deserves praises for today!
As well as the other two ladies unfortunately I did not get their names they were both extremely helpful and nice . You are Blessed to have these people working for you at Target???Rosie Shepherd

Okay if no self checkout then please have an express lane like grocery stores for 10 items or less
It's a bit tricky when this store always has lines but no self checkout and then no express lines means a quick in and out for a handful of items will mean waiting for full cart people to finish well before you can checkout

Came in to make a return. The girl who helped me was super nice and super helpful, however, another employee at the returns desk named Susan kept making nasty remarks about me and my return. The item I was returning had been shipped to me, so it had my name and address, which I did not think about until I was in the parking lot, where I tried to peel the sticker off unsuccessfully. I asked the girl who was helping me if we could mark it out or scratch it off, and Susan (who was not involved in the return whatsoever) told her not to do it because "if he was actually that concerned about it he would have done it himself". I told her I was in fact concerned about it, and she said nothing else while I was returning the item. However, as I was walking away I could hear Susan loudly talking badly about me and to the girl who helped me (who was not responding) and in front of several other customers. Overall, it just seemed like she was trying to start a confrontation with me over a return that she was not involved in. Super unprofessional and I will definitely not come back to this location seeing as how they allow people like this to interact with customers in this way. I also tried to call the store several times to get in contact with a manager, but no one picked up the phone.
