Sadly the 1 star met my expectations. Went in to the milling department to purchase a storm door and some other door parts. We had an employee start to help then got a phone call mid conversation then just walked away. He came back started to assist me, but they didn't have the door we needed in stock, gets another phone call and says I need to bring a door upfront, I can look the door up when I get back. Mind you we are standing in front of the sales person and he left us 3x. Decided don't need the door today. Head to check out to buy the other items, get to the register and the cashier and another customer are going on sharing family photos on their phones..after a few minutes of this decided to go to another check out. After I checked out I saw they were still photo swapping. What in the world ever happened to customer service??? Sadly this is the norm here.

9/2023. - My experience with Home Depot for inhome kitchen cabinets make over was not a good experience. The customer service was horrible. They say it will only take x amount of days but it's all BS. I would make sure you get quotes from other companies before contracting Home Depot to do the work.

Had terrible service. Attitudes all the way around, trying to pick up an order for Sheetrock and nobody would help me, after being told to go to a specific register to pick up my order I was told "that's not my job it has nothing to do with me" I continued to ask someone else and he wasn't even trying to help and see if my order was ready and after asking a few more times (because I was told my order was ready prior to even coming in) he radioed and they said they never got the order for it. Basically shit attitudes and poor communication. Donna was the only person to help and was great. Otherwise we won't be back.

We spent $200 for delivery, of which we expected a certain amount of expertise. No we got two clowns that did everything wrong. They couldn't get power to the dishwasher. After many efforts, success. Then, which I found out later, wrong screws were used to install. They left after the power was on. We tested it, no water, they forgot to turn the water on. Then in their rush to install when the water was on and being tested. Water shooting everywhere underneath. I quickly tightened the source of the leak. We are angry and disappointed. Now we have to wait until next weekend for some, hopefully of some expertise to inspect the train wreck. It is shameful that these big box hardware companies pay more for advertising and not on employing and training quality workers.

Every time I come to this location I end up waiting forever to get paint stirred or to look at paint. Even though I ask at the service desk to send somebody over I end up waiting to the point that I have to leave and drive 10 minutes down the road to the one on Capitol to get any help. Worst Customer Service ever!!! Today they were playing with a cart of puppies instead of taking care of customers.

I have gone to this location at least a dozen times in the past year and today's experience was the same... disappointing. I looked on line for the 64" shepherd's hook for my garden. I didn't want to drive 5 miles if they were out. The online shopping said the Knightdale store had 8 available, so we went. There wasn't 8. There wasn't any of that size and price range. The one with the scroll work was there at the right size. I said to my partner that if it was $17.99, I'd take that one, but when we went ip to the service desk the cashier there was surly that she had to come around her desk to check the price. I told her that they were out of the others that they said they had in stock showing they had 8 online. She just stared at us and didn't say a thing... to anything we had said to her. She just went back around the counter and went to the next person! If it happened once or twice, that's one thing, however this happens constantly. After never finding what I need at the price they say they have, but constantly finding higher priced items similar instead, I'm done. I'm older and on a fixed budget. If they are using bait and switch to get me into the store to spend more and then be treated rudely, they aren't getting us back as customers. I'm going to a mom and pop local nursery who NEED the business more. It maybe a higher price, but we'll at least be keeping a local business alive and be treated a helluva lot better.

This was a horrible experience. The reason I ordered a ladder was because if I placed my order within the given time remaining, it would be shipped to me by Tuesday 10/4. So I placed the order. Frickin bait and switch. I had to skip work all day Tuesday because the ladder was a no show. I attempted to have the ladder held at the shipping location within an hours drive when it arrived Wednesday, but FedEx has a broken automated system and could not process my request. I missed 90% of my work day waiting for the ladder to arrive Wednesday. When it came, I excitedly opened the packing material, just to find one of the latches had been damaged in transit. Unbelievably horrible experience, and after communicating with customer service, I learned y'all don't care about your customers satisfaction at all. Horrible experience 1/10 do not recommend.

This store is severely lacking in customer service. I've had bad experiences 2 days in a row. First it was Phillip who behaved like it was bother to help me. I decided to give the store another chance today and the "asst manager" John is terrible. He asked me if I needed a board cut for a project...why else would I be in Home Depot????!!!! He said that isn't what their saw is for but he would sell me a saw. How else are customers supposed to get long boards into their vehicles???? I will not shop in this store again.

Go here if you want to walk around finding not what your looking for after being directed twice! What a horrific place to waste the longest 30 minutes of my life getting absolutely nowhere in getting whatever I need, except a hell lot of walking which I don't need after being on my feet for 8 hours straight. I needed 10 minutes and had 10 minutes of my time!

Great selection until you realize all of it is out of stock. Friendly staff, but not helpful. We picked out our fridge and asked to be helped. Several "it's not my job"'s later, we decided to get a mini fridge since it was an emergency, and buy a fridge another place.

I just have to say... This store went out of their way to accommodate Us in a situation where we were at fault. The manager, Bernice went above and beyond to help fix an issue that we created and saved the day. We ordered flooring to have it installed prior to a very large amount of family members coming to visit, my husband and I both thought they said the product would be delivered and the floor could be installed prior to our guests coming. So the floor was scheduled to be installed and then the installers called us to say the flooring would not be in till the following week which was going to be a calamity for us. So we went back to the store and picked a floor that was in stock and Bernice made all the adjustments to make this happen and everything will be done before my company gets here. Suffice to say, I am a happy woman. Ironically the original flooring that we ordered was our first pick, but they had something in stock when we went back that wasn't there the day we ordered and I seriously like it better! God, He works in amazing ways.

I visited this HD for the first time and did not have a good experience. I had a return and the lady was not friendly. I then purchased a few items and went to self checkout. The ladder I purchased rang up $10 higher than their website price. I asked the older woman why and she said they didn't honor the website price. She was nasty and was complaining to another employee that she was having a bad day. I will not be back. I'll go to Lowe's across the street.
