The staff have always been friendly, and I've only really interacted with whoever is running the register - even if that is rarely the same person, twice.
I think today I found out why. I was disappointed and disgusted to hear someone who I can only assume was a member of management - definitely not a "leader" by definition - openly complaining and shaming employees for "suddenly" asking about taking breaks during their shift. Stating "ever since this remodel, everyone's talking about breaks, all of a sudden." With a confirmation from another - perhaps manager - "Tell them we need to get back to normal."
I hope they read this. I hope any manager and supposed leader there reads this and considers that THIS toxic mentality is unacceptable, and likely a key contributor to why I rarely see the same employee twice. A 10/15 minute investment, once or twice a day is such a small, harmless right that can go a long way with employee satisfaction.
Do better. Don't shame people for wanting to take a break.

Prices for items marked on shelving is NOT the same price at checkout. Cashiers do not honor posted pricing.

8/28/24 it's 10am and doors are locked. Parking lot is filthy!!! I can only imagine the interior. I don't come here often but when I do I at least expect it to be open.

Store had stuff all over the walkways and was a mess. The parking lot was full of trash and made a horrible first impression. Almost didnt go in just based on that. Purchased a couple bottles of water and could have done better at a grocery store. Won't be back. Sad because we live right down the road.

The outside of the store is disgusting. When I opened my car door I stepped in a bunch of doritos then looked around and there was trash all over the place; empty Burger King sandwich box, and nasty food and trash up and down the parking lot. We should take pride in our work place and neighborhood. The whole time I was inside I listened to the cashier talk to her manager on her cellphone about her schedule and by the time she checked me out she was so stressed out and distracted. I felt sorry for the lady but this was overall a terrible experience today. Especially the nasty parking lot!

Never had any issues in this store until tonight. I shop at this store several times through out the week. All the workers up until tonight have been friendly and helpful. WINONA was very unprofessional and rude. A item came up incorrectly and I showed her were the item was ( along with several other bags on the rack ). She looked at the tag and quickly became defensive and said I’m not giving it to you for that price. I don’t know who put them there but they are in the wrong place. I guess she insinuating, I put them there. I informed her, I did not do it, it was more than likely a worker as about 6 or 7 bags were on the rack. She proceeded to say she just went to a training and was told not to do this . I read her name badge as just how she came off was RUDE. She stated that is fine. I walked away from her And went back to the counter. I asked the clerk to take it off. She proceeded to come back up front still being rude and making comments say to me ..she will let her manager know as he comes in tonight. She further went on to say I needed to read the signs. I informed her the workers needed to put items in the correct spot. She then stated again she was not going to give it to me . Winona was very rude , hostile , antagonizing and unprofessional.

Pretty bad. I work all day and the bathrooms are locked. Had to get an employee to open it 10 mins later.

I've been here a few times. The weirdest thing is that they don't have a trash receptacle outside. I was trying to dump trash from my car before going inside the store, and I had to take it back to my car because there was no can. Most times, the store has been tidy. They have a good selection of ethnic hair care. They have almost everything you probably ever wanted from the store outside of meats, etc. I haven't ever had a problem finding what I needed there at a reasonable price. I would go back if needed. The staff has been pretty friendly for the most part. The service isn't horrible, but it isn't outstanding either.
