I have owned vehicles through OBX Chevrolet for 3 years now and everytime I have had to take it in for service or recalls, they tell me how long it will be and it's always triple that time or they keep it into the next day or two or more! I am so disgusted with this. They never have loaners and this is the only vehicle I own. When I get upset over this, I'm made out to be the unreasonable one. They always have an excuse. I think you should have a separate service department for your customers who have purchased cars from you and have warranties that come in for regular maintenance service. I'm always waiting on someone else's emergency who doesn't live here and is bumped ahead of me when I've had an appt for 2 weeks or a month! If it's not that, then it's because they didn't know how to install something before hand and it took longer. Then don't tell me it will only take a half a day and then have it all day. Or the the time I waited on an oil change and check on alignment, that I made an appt for, that was only supposed to take about an hr, took 4 hrs! It's been every time I have been in there that this has happened. Just bought a brand new truck from them and I'm already regretting it! Never been treated this bad, anywhere else I have lived! You need to figure out a way to put your customers first and treat them with respect beyond the sales floor! Warranties are not cheap and you should be able to get the service that you pay for without being put last because you have already paid for it! Did I say I was disgusted! Oh yeah, I did!

My vehicle was repaired at the body shop per a reference from my insurance company. After the body repair I had to take it back to my dealer to get the lights repaired due to the wiring being put back improperly. I would no recommend them for any repairs. They offered no assistance.

Here on vacation with a 2022 Silverado parked it a came out 2 days later nothing started and no gauges. Place a battery charger on the truck over night and still nothing which means a dead cell in the battery. Called the service department had to leave a message finally after a couple of hours called back repaedly finally got a person that said they are backed up for 2 weeks so I called the parts department to see if they had a battery which they did it cost me 300 bucks and no warranty could be done. As a wheelchair user and my truck is customized for me even telling them this no one cared I even had to install the battery myself good thing my wife is willing to help. lousy customer service could not even take 10 minutes to change a battery.

Based on service center check in process, there's no way I'd even consider buying a vehicle here. Rude, unhelpful bunch of standing around with their hands on their pockets, going out of their way to not help ya kind of guys. I'm 5-10 early for an appointment on a factory recall issue, I'm parked just outside service entrance, after finally making eye contact and getting a verbal response from one of the three dudes hanging around at desks, he finally tells me, I need you to go get it and pull it in here. Really? Anything else I can fetch for ya? While um pulling in, out of the blind entrance tunnel , with nary an orange cone or safety flag in sight, comes the poor lady that was in front of me. Good thing I'm a cautious driver. No marked pedestrian walk way, she's strolling out the slam in the middle of the driveway service entrance. Eff-ing dangerous. Difficult to see entering a dark garage bay. Piss poor planning snd straight up crap customer experience so far. Now the head useless guy , upon confirming my name and address, tells me if they crack my dashboard during the repair it's not covered. DISGUSTED

Brian in Service was amazing again! I am a single parent and was off the beach for an appointment. Brian helped me get my car serviced, got my son a ride home, and even let me pay for it! Brian is polite, effective, and a real asset to the service department. Highly recommend Brian at OBX Chevy Service Department.Oh- I wanted the tires rotated on my car. Brian could have just done what I asked, BUT he called me and advised not to do the rotation due to some of the wear on the tires! I have never had ANY service center actually look out for me like this! Thank you Brian and OBX Chevy again!

Great service. Jeri was very responsive and got me in quickly. Repair completed quickly and fully. John who was the service tech fixed all and got brakes fixed fully. This even though a CA dealership said there was nothing wrong. But the brake rotors were done. My truck now is safe and fully serviced. Great job!

I had my truck in for service in a dealership in Hingham Ma. And an a 19 point inspection before we left for vacation on the Outer Banks. Well during the trip south my brakes began to grind. I saw OBX Chevrolet Buick in Kitty Hawk. I brought my Silverado in to have the repairs done. Manager Robert Parente and his team were amazing. They checked out the brakes let me know what needed to be done now and what would need to be done in the near future. They replaced both rear rotors and pads. They were friendly and professional, they got the job done within estimate and within the time frame Bob said it would take. They really saved my families vacation. If I lived nearby this would be my go to shop and if sales was a professional as service I would consider buying my next truck there. Thank you Bob!
