This was a good experience. This hotel is so welcoming theirs cookies , popcorn and lemonade at the front door of check out and their is like 1960 style decorations. The pool is beautiful theirs a lot of seating spaces I took so many good photos the room provides everything you need besides what you bring for yourself this is amazing?

I can not speak highly enough of this place. Renee was so helpful and accommodating. The room was immaculate, and the theme is well executed. The pool area is over the top for the price. I'm not picky, but I looked at several other places in the area, and nothing compared.

Very good location in Downtown Kinston. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The room I had was small, the chair to sit in was very uncomfortable and the curtains did not keep the light out of the room. They have a typical continental breakfast that was will stocked. Stayed at a couple of places in Kinston and this was the best place I stayed.

Is this place real!? I was so excited to book for an upcoming trip and I've been calling and leaving messages for the last 2 weeks (I even tried Facebook messaging them) but can't get anyone on the phone? It's very odd. Seems like people have stayed here recently. What a shame! It looks so fun and would have been perfect for my little family's trip. Too bad they won't return my calls ?

We loved it there
Had everything you could want there from games to swimming, shopping, and eating out. The rooms are clean, room service is great. We will definitely be back to visit.

We had the most wonderful restful stay at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge! Pleasantly surprised as we didn't know what to expect. We needed a place to stay in between visits & this was it. Our room was clean, bright & colorful, pillows were so comfy. Hubby said it was better than the courtyard Marriott we stayed in previous night. Pool was beautiful!!! Sadly we had no time to enjoy it. Breakfast was great...waffles were the BEST we've had in ages. They even have Truvia! Coffee better than Dunkin'. Staff were SO nice. I would LOVE to come back & stay here for a long weekend...they are an outfit that gives back to their community & you can ask the staff all about that. Decorated with retro, all things reminiscent of my childhood & teen years. Bike rentals, mini golf on site. Just a wonderful little place, once you come inside, it's like you're in your own little world of Mother Earth❤️ I recommend this place to all & also to those who live nearby who need a restful weekend in their own little oasis. Thank you Mother Earth Motor Lodge for a much needed rest.
Rooms: Ours was a bit small but clean, great pillows & bedding. Colorful.
Safety: Felt very safe here.
Food & drinks: Good breakfast, delicious waffles & coffee.
Noteworthy details: Gives back to community. Local artists. Environmentally conscious. Free wifi.

Very cute theme and comfortable rooms. We had a bunch of laundry from over a week of traveling and they did it very fast and with a smile. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was quite basic but with the addition of make-it-yourself waffles. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

This is such a cute place! It's designed and styled to be super retro and fun, and our room was incredibly clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to use the amenities but the pool looked lovely and they also provide breakfast and afternoon snacks. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Mother Earth Motor Lodge. This place is super swanky in the best way. Sitting in the pool it gave off palm springs vibes, the rooms were very well kept, the staff was OUTSTANDING. I was able to have conversations with a few different workers and they were all very kind. I will absolutely come back and I will definitely recommend this place. I'll always keep it in my back pocket for when I need a break from life. You will find me at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge. ?
Walkability: Very walkable to downtown Kingston!!

Beautiful place to stay, great desk staff. Morning staff were nice , one guy that worked there was walking around with his pants below his waist showing his underwear. Not a good look if you are working, save that for the street when you are off.

Was so impressed by my stay at Mother Earth. The property and the room were spotless, amenities were exactly as described (or better - the pool was particularly well maintained and the continental breakfast options were more than what I’d expected), and service was friendly and efficient. I’ve seen lots of hotels charge way more and deliver way less. The Mother Earth team has clearly put in thought on how to make each stay a pleasant and comfortable one.
The location of my room did leave a little to be desired (view was a wall, and there was a loud security gate slamming shut directly next to it) but I only booked my stay a few days in advance and the hotel was pretty busy - someone’s gotta be in that room, and my stay was so short that it was no big deal. The 10PM quiet hours were respected, so no gate slamming while I was asleep.
If I’m ever in Lenoir County again, I’ll definitely be back.
