I just want to start off by saying the girl on the front desk was a big help notifying the issue that I had in my car (that another shop couldn’t but I’ll explain in a bit). The mechanic that worked on my car was able to fix the problem and I’m just happy that I was able to drive the car smooth again with no check engine light. I think the mechanic got mad at one point but I get it we all get that way when something doesn’t go right. It’s a stressful environment working on vehicles so I took it to them so I won’t stress myself over it. But I was stressing at another shop, not saying any names but took car to another place and they give me the run around and I wasn’t pleased how they treated me like didn’t know English. Anyways Kinston Automotive got me in and I’m satisfied with the work.

Me and my Husband absolutely love this place. We had a very difficult time trying to find a mechanic to work on our 05 Toyota Corolla that was just giving us so many issues (she’s going on over 500,000 miles) but through a friend we found this mechanic shop. They took us right in and got us right back out with no issues. I will not go to any other mechanic while this shop is still in business. Everyone there was kind and polite, I have no complaints for my many times of being there.

Would give no stars if possible. Took my car there in February it took them almost 2 weeks to just look at it even though i was told to bring it in that day. Then it took another week or two to fix it. When i picked up the car the check engine light came right back. Took it back in. Oh its just a sensor. Ok fixed that took the car home and check engine light came back same thing oh its just this. When i picked the car up for a 3rd time i got a check engine light again!! So 1.5 months, 3 tries and almost $2000 later my car still wasnt fixed and still had a check engine light. I dont know who works there but i cant believe those are actual mechanics

Great people and great quality work. I’ve known them for years and has never disappointed. Very helpful and gets done in a timely manner. Great place to take care of all ur vehicle needs.. would highly recommend them over any of these other shops around here.

Although I failed my inspection, it was fast and I did make an appointment. I suggest to make an appointment as they're fairly busy. Always good service.

I really wanted to like them; but most people who work here have nasty negative energy. The only good person in the entire business is the youngest mechanic guy with brown eyes. He helped me with such real care & empathy when no one else would. If not for him, the young girl up front would have stolen all my money & blamed it all on me (like she was trying to do). Shameful shyt taking place by her. Made me cry all day. I did everything right, she were trying to do everything wrong by me. There are better mechanics in Kinston. I wish only the best for the younger guy though; he is genuinely the only good soul up there who cared enough to help me. Thanks only to him. He deserves far better.

This is the only place I take my cars to. They are very honest, try to get your parts as soon as possible, and try to get your vehicle fixed in a timely manner. Many times they have gone above and beyond to service my cars, as I am a driver for living. They explain what is wrong with my cars in a way that a non-automotive person can understand. I highly recommend them.

Went there to have a leak fixed, cost me $500.00 and still leaking. Be very cautious when you go there, they will over charge you. It shouldn't cost $500.00 to replace a transmission oil pan gasket.Service: Transmission
