Booked a 2 night stay (military rate) with this hotel for National Guard training, using the IHG app. When I arrive to check in the lady tells me they booked the state rate instead of federal rate. Says she has to raise my price $11 per night. I explain I’ve already put in the request for the price quoted. She said they know the price is wrong online. Basically they know their military price is wrong but do nothing about it. But they are quick to charge you more when you arrive. I told her just cancel my reservation. Probably won’t book with holiday inn for a while. Fairfield Inn was very nice however and very accommodating.

If you need an overnight stay or a few days, this is the hotel to stay at. My stay felt like a home away from home, and I will contribute that to the Assistant General Manager: Shyheim Richardson. No matter what time of day or night, he handled every situation with care. So I give this manager and hotel a 5-star rating!

We stayed there from Thursday 27th July to Sunday 31st July 2023. Our group had an annual convention and the experience with the hotel was terrible. To their credit, some staff were nice and professional but some were rude, especially the lady at the breakfast side.Someone in our group found a roach in his room, complained and was still spoken to rudely. In the same room, rotten food was found in the microwave.Another family had a broken AC and broken microwave in their room. Finally, the hotel had the guts to blame and threaten us. Despite their grossly abysmal service, they threatened to discriminate against us and not rent out rooms to us next year when we have our convention in the town. Though they were the ones at fault, they reported the different families to the leader of the group. They are the worst Holiday Inn Express I've seen and the hotel is a serious blemish on the IHG brand.I wouldn't recommend the hotel at all.Noteworthy details: Expect to be treated like a kid or to be treated rudely

Very nice place ,breakfast in the morning is good. The only problem that the pool wasn't clean when I was there.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. It is affordable and in a really good place.Breakfast is really good and also there's a few options if you're vegan or vegetarian, also the coffee and tea is really nice. The only thing I don't like is that, in some rooms, there's a door connecting to another room so, being a girl who travels alone, it feels kinda unsafe.Room service is really good, the room smells really nice.

The older maid was the sweetest woman ever. I was having a bad morning until I met her in the elevator and she was so sweet, it instantly turned my mood around! Thank you so much!!!!! Please give her a raise!!!!

Heard moaning and sexual groaning for 15 minutes across the hall of 106. In about 30 minutes 15 minutes more moaning. Stayed in 112, the king suite, best not ask for if you can handle the rattling and screeching of the main elevator. This is now my second visit and I'd rather stay 7 minutes down the road at the Hampton inn. Doesn't matter about status and I may or may not be platinum elite. They don't care. Forgot to mention that my initial stay, I was set to go to 124. I walked into a bed spreed which someone had tended to themselves. Clerk, "oh my". Myself, " what if I had walked in on someone or a lady, yes there is a difference. Would I have been shot, pulled a knife on or what. Seriously what..?it's a hotel... gah. Bummers. They still don't clean their air filters in the a/c unit.. been to to manny. Don't think I'll stay here again.... Unless. You get printers that don't print both sides of paper and hand color options... wait I don't think I'll stay here again.. sorry lazy managers.

Had to show confirmation because they couldn’t find I lit by name. Pool is warm and clean. Looks updated. Lady at breakfast is amazingly attentive!! My only complaint was the dirtiness of the room.. I found an emptied, cleaned out beer bottle with bodily fluids on it in between the mattress and the box Spring. The floor wasn’t cleaned. There was other peoples hair all over the bathroom. You could tell it wasn’t swept. Could be better. Could be worse.

Reservation was made over a month in advance. Room was available but poorly stocked with the basic amenities...soap, body wash...clean towels...room service. I had to catch one of the cleaning staff to discover...room service is only available if you request it at 7 am each morning. Then, a little note with that explanation was supposed to be included with the keys. It wasn't included. The receptionist was supposed to explain the rules as well. She didn't.I only learned the rule of room service when I put my trash cans outside the room with dirty towels when the staff was cleaning another room. I explained the dilemma and she explained the RULES. She was nice enough to replace my trash bags and towels. With a stern warning she instructed me to get down to the front desk the next morning and submit my request. The next day...my last day I received a knock on the door from the floor staff who said I should have stopped him in the hallway to discuss the matter. I didn't know the gentleman or his position. Why would I approach a stranger with a complaint? He also advised me to go to the front desk. My response..."It's my last day here. I have no reason to go there at this point. I only know I will not choose to stay here in the future." Of course he apologized...5 days too late.At check out, the receptionist reiterated what all the other staff members mentioned. She apologized and was nice enough to give me a price cut for any inconvenience. I'm thankful for that. Thus... 1 star for the housekeeper who gave me clean towels and 1 star for the price cut.

Hotel FAIL!! but lessons learned!! Booked a 4-night stay in a "mobility" ADA room through Expedia When I checked in, all the "mobility" rooms (4 with tub/shower combos) were already taken by the Renaissance Fair people...so, they "upgraded" me to a King Suite with walk-in shower only...at no extra charge.I was suspicious by the underlying odor of mold & Lysol in the lobby and dining room but was tired and headed to our room.We also chose this hotel for its pool which was "closed" as they were waiting for parts...but 5he tiny gym WAS available. When we walked in our room, we were slapped by an overwhelming odor of cigerette smoke. The odor perminated both the bathroom and room but is centered from the bathroom's ventilation. We tried everything from opening doors, fans & air purifier (that we bought at WalMart) with little effect. We reeked of smoke!!We reported two times to management but we're blown off by "we're looking into it" but never an offer to switch room.By the next day and headaches/sinus issues, we decided to check out early and go to another place. Here's the lesson...the hotel doesn't handle refunds as it's a "third-party reservation" (Expedia) and Expedia won't refund anything after 24-hrs regardless of reason!!So....be aware!!
