I do not recommend this Hotel at all. The bed in room 317 has a huge dip/hole in it and when you lie down you fall to the middle, and you need to hold on because getting out of that hole is very difficult. The sheets kept coming off the corners of the bed because we were in a huge hole, and it was very lumpy in the bed as well. I finally got up and went downstairs, totally exhausted, and told the desk clerk. There was no hot water and I let the sink run for four to five minutes, the shower was not usable because the water was so cold, and trying to wash your hands in ice-cold water is very uncomfortable, the desk clerk said just let the water run a while, that didn't work. I continued to walk around for hours trying to wait until daylight, so I could get out of there, my 82-year-old husband slept very little as well, I finally put him in the chair and covered him up, so at least he could get a little rest. Also, I left messages for the manager to bring her husband to the hotel and try to sleep in that bed and look around at the filth. I wanted some coffee but there was so much dust on the coffee machine, that I was concerned, so I went downstairs again and asked if there was any coffee but was told that the kitchen person didn't come in until 5:00 am. Behind the television was just covered in a thick layer of dust and the bathroom floor had long black hairs on it and behind the toilet and under the sink (corners are just filthy!!) I did not sleep all night and had to drive a long way to get home, the next day. I took pictures of my 82-year-old husband in a huge hole with the corners of the sheets on his head because the sheets kept popping off, at one point he was on the mattress pad. I cried because I was so tired and was concerned about driving. No sleeping in the bed, no shower because the water was too cold, no coffee in the room because the pot was so dusty, and to top it off the room was filthy. Why isn't someone walking around doing checks on these rooms? It does not take a genius to do that and to see the areas of filth in these rooms. If I was the Manager, I would insist on checking these areas constantly. It only takes a few seconds to use a dust wand to clean up these areas. Are they a skeleton crew that has too many rooms to clean and that's why they are so filthy? Why not send someone in Management to the rooms after they are done and check for substandard cleaning, go look you will be shocked at the dust and corner filth. These employees should be required to wear some type of hat to keep their long hair from shedding all over the rooms. I can take a lot but this was the worst Hotel stay of my life and I did not sleep at all, and I am very disappointed. The Hotel staff knew about my concerns because I kept telling them. I feel for anyone who stays in that place. Because I have been in Management most of my adult life, I know that there's no reason for these issues to be happening because checks can be made to prevent sagging mattresses and filth! Good luck to anyone who stays in this Hampton Inn and I am so surprised that Hilton is affiliated in any way with this Hotel. Because they had their name on it, we stayed there, a big mistake. One good point the employees are nice but being nice does not help with a filthy room, cold water, and a disgusting bed.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Elevator was out of service, black mold on ceiling and cockroaches. Staff was friendly and did the best they could. I filled a complaint but was never contacted.

Hotel had bed bugs and they refused to give another room. Their front desk staff was polite and helpful. Very disappointed at Hampton by Hilton.

I booked this hotel after checking out the website. It had a fitness room and pool. I went to use the fitness room and the treadmill and elliptical training were not working. I decided to go to the pool. The pool was closed. I decided I'd just sit in the pool area and enjoy the sun with my book. I got kicked out of the area for just sitting there. No compassion from the desk person when I complained. I will never stay at this location again!

Hotel good...adequate...fairly clean...needs updating. No smoking allowed....unless it is weed...the entire elevator and hallways reek of weed. Yuk! Try an edible! Staff very friendly.

I have one positive comment to make: the staff were super friendly. Other than that, I do not recommend this place. They clearly need to do some updates. It was kind of clean, so that's a plus. It was also kind of scary to stay there.

Solid 3 star stay. Location is great, easy to find. Room very clean. Front desk staff was helpful. This location appears dated. Looks like it may have been another chain that Hampton replaced. It IS close to a Bojangles, though, so that's an enhancer! Lol. I'd stay again if in the area.

et's start with the cleanliness... when they gave me the first room, it smelled so bad they had to switch my room... once my room was switched I was so exhausted, I sprayed my bed down with Lysol and went to bed... I got up to take a shower and the tub had hair in it and was not cleaned... I reported that... the next morning... DO YALL SEE THAT DANG SPIDER that was crawling in the bed with me JESUS HELP!! Reported that... went to get breakfast... why did the lazy cook and yes I'm saying LAZY COOK recycled the smoke sausage from yesterday? Then had an attitude when I mentioned it to her... she offered me some turkey sausage however since she was so NASTY... I didn't eat them... Go back upstairs to get my stuff and what did I find on the sofa... A FREAKING TICK!! I'm OUT!!

I've stayed in nicer and better Hamptons during the pandemic. In fast this one is my sixth after stays in Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Virginia earlier this year. They're handing out an overly photocopied page to explain their current low services even though we're at the tail end of COVID and other places are doing better. My room was clean though freezing cold. The cold makes the sheets feel moist even though they're not. I had to run the heater a little bit to get the room up from 62 degrees. Very cold! However, the room was clean and the work desk had sufficient outlets on it for my electronics. The free wifi worked well. There are also outlets at the bedside for charging my phone. There was minimal noise from the hallways in the late evening and in the morning. My room was close enough to the elevator that I could hear it dinging but with earplugs, no.Bathroom was clean and roomy. Water pressure was excellent and the hot water was hot. A good shower tub.Breakfast was limited to just scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, plus some breads and yogurts and fruits and cereal. Not the usual spread for a Hampton and missing a few things. Why aren't there any condiments?Coming back to the room in the late afternoon for a nap was a constant thump-thump-thump from the hallway as the housekeeping crew (none during your stay, which I understand) are dropping the door on the lock. The need either door stops or slow-close doors here in a huge way!As a Diamond with Hilton's hotel program, I was not upgraded (Hey, that's okay. Just pointing it out.) and I did not get any welcome gift. Not even the usual two bottles of water. I also did not see any reserved Diamond parking outside. There aren't many good hotels in this part of North Carolina. I'd stay here again, but I'd look around for something else at the same price point first.[Review 15464 overall, 968 of 2021, number 3008 in North Carolina.]
