My first experience went well. I made an appointment to have my truck I just purchased fully inspected. I was informed I needed new upper arm controls. I scheduled an appointment to have new upper arm controls put on. Meanwhile I did some research to see if you could just replace the ball joint and you can. I called back to the dealership and spoke with the lady and she informed me that they could replace just the ball joints but it would cost more to do so and it would be cheaper to replace the entire control arm. I decided since I was going to replace the entire control arm why not get what I want which was the red control arms because the truck came with grey and I like what I like. I decided against what I really wanted which was the rough country arms because the GM parts come with a warranty. At the time I didn’t know rough country offered their own warranty. I have a Chevrolet with a 3 inch lift kit that’s by rough country. From the research I done GM parts wouldn’t work with my lift kit. So I called the dealership back. This time there was a lot going on with the phone systems and a lot of background noise. If you’ve ever been inside the dealership the two customer service people are literally sitting side by side so I couldn’t hardly hear over her neighbors conversation. I told the lady my concerns about my truck lift and the parts they were going to use. I even considered buying my own parts and letting the dealership put them on. By this time the lady seemed a little irritated and said that whatever they take off my truck and put back on it would be the same thing. She said when you get to doing research like I did you start going down a rabbit hole. So I said okay then no worries. So I kept the appointment that was scheduled for 9am. Along with getting the upper control arms replaced, I was to get an alignment, inspection for tags and a extra key made. Originally I was told it would take 4 hours to do everything. I was okay with and wiling to wait at the dealership. The morning of my appointment I arrive and was told it would be that afternoon. No big deal I arranged to be picked up. The lady and me went over everything I was to get done. My first appointment with the I told them I wanted a key made and a key fob. I then changed it to just a key and no fob. So as we are going over the list of services to get done the lady ask about the key. I tell her yes I want the key cut but no key fob. Later that evening around 2:30pm I get a phone call from the dealership and it’s the other customer service person. He’s a very nice and informative gentleman. He tells me that the lady I’ve been dealing with has left for the day and that they can not replace my upper control arms because the GM parts don’t fit. Now I’m a little irritated because first of all my appointment was @ 9am and I could of dropped truck off later since I wasn’t going to get it back until the afternoon, but then what really got me is that I specifically called back several times to speak with this lady that had been helping me and told her my concerns about the parts and the truck lift and she pretty much said we got it no worries. I honesty felt like I was irritating her but I knew I was the one paying for these services and I wanted to be sure. So, I thanked the gentleman for calling me and went to pick up my truck. Upon arrival I speak with the nice gentleman and he cracks a joke saying I owe him a whole heaping $13 for the inspection and I say well that can’t be right because I was suppose to get a key cut too. He says well she didn’t say anything about that and showed me a piece of paper where the lady had it marked out. People make mistakes I get it but a piece of advice slow down and take time to listen to your paying customers then maybe we wouldn’t waste each others time or other peoples’ time as well. Ask questions if your not sure. I live 10 miles down the road from the dealership but now I’ll be going out of town for any services I want done to my truck.

I purchased my car here and was very pleased. I told them what I needed and that's what I got and at the price I was prepared to spend. Go see Dylan and he'll take good care of you!

Had my last oil change done here for my truck. GMC Sierra with a 5.3L V8. Recently changed the oil myself and measured how much oil came out which was 6 quarts. This truck requires 8 quarts. That means the technician at this service center only put in 6 quarts. Running on low oil can cause severe damage to the engine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SERVICE NEEDS!!!

I don’t know how the other salesman is, but Derrick Tillman at this location is the worst I have ever dealt with. The constant lies or just failure to communicate is the reason I will never go back to Deacon Jones. It’s been 5 months since Tillman told me he was getting me a key (still nowhere to be found). I was told I was getting a FREE oil change and tire rotation PAYED…. $130, broken window switch (realized was broken on the way home leaving the lot) took over a month of back and forth to fix. The only thing he accomplished for me was selling me my car (of course he gets 100% benefited for selling the car). I just want to warn others to be cautious if they decide to buy a car from him. It’s important to have honest and reliable service, and unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience with Derrick Tillman at Deacon Jones. And yes I have 100% proof

While on vacation, I stopped at Deacon Jones GMC for an oil change. KIM not only fitted me in but provided outstanding customer service. This was my 2nd visit there. The first time I was there, the gentleman at the service desk also was unparalleled with his professionalism and customer service. This is the prototype for all others to emulate. JOB WELL DONE!

Rio Best was amazing he found a car that fit my exact needs and actually listened to me instead of trying to push me into a car. They also make the finance portion easy and fast so I was in and out within an hour. I would suggest anyone looking for a car to go to deacon jones Kinston. The whole crew there was friendly and willing to help how ever they can.

EVERYONE at Deacon Jones Chevy was AMAZING!! From my first inquiry about my dream car with SaRah to talking with Scott and then finance guy Garrett has been a great experience!! Scott was my favorite and he went above and beyond for me! I bought my new car out of state so couldn't see it in person. Scott took a short video walk around and inside the car for me!! He also sent me pics of my car after it was washed and on the showroom floor. I appreciate him so much!! I was always kept up to date with the process and my questions and concerns were always taken care of. I'm so excited to be getting my new car!! Thank you team Deacon Jones Chevy!!!
