Jim's helped me tremendously when I had a coolant leak while on a weekend trip to Pilot Mountain. Got my Alfa Romeo patched up and did it all for a price that I think was far too low for the effort they put into it.

I took my van here due to a transmission drip that another auto shop found - I had a closed transmission so had to take it to a transmission specific shop. Alex was very accommodating, worked fast - and even dealt with an issue afterwards with kindness and helped us on a weekend to make sure the car was okay. I would recommend this business and I’m so glad they were able to help us. Excellent service and a willingness to work!

Alex and company were awesome. I had called several shops looking for someone to install an entire A/c system in my ‘85 Dodge D150. I was either told it was not worth it, can’t do it or given crazy prices. Alex said bring it by and we will take a look. He found all the parts, and gave me an amazing price compared to what I had received elsewhere. While truck was in shop Alex and his team did several other tune-up’s on it while they were under hood. Some were quoted and some were done at no charge. I cannot praise them enough in a time of inflation and sub par customer service. Truck runs great and now I know exactly where to go next time I need work done that I do not feel confident about doing myself. If you are looking for a very good and honest auto repair, I strongly recommend Jim’s Automotive.

Recently made an appt to get my air looked at. Had my car almost 2 years and it just blew hot air. It was fast and easy to make an appt 2 days out from when I called. Took it in before 9AM and I got a call back before 3PM!! They had figured out it was a bad valve and added dye to make sure there is no leak, told me bring it back if there is and they’ll take another look; 3 weeks strong!!! I believe it was Alex I dealt with, he made my experience fast and easy and it was much cheaper than I expected !

I highly recommend them. My car broke down on a Sunday afternoon at Dollar General. Alex stopped what he was doing, had his partner to come and they helped me. They hit my car running and took me to their shop. They installed a battery and did not charge me for emergency help! I am so grateful to them. With me being a single woman, they could have charged me an outrageous price but they did not! They are so honest, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. They are definitely my new mechanics. There really are kind and honest people still out there. I am truly thankful and appreciative for them. You can put your trust in them. Jim’s automotive is the best!

Drove to King pulling a trailer and about 35 minutes out lost my rear axle finished the drive in four wheel drive. Called every shop in King. Jim's was the only place willing to help fix it on a Friday afternoon because I had to drive back to Lynchburg Virginia Sunday. They did a great job and helped a stranger out of a jam.
