208 Williams Dr, Kill Devil HillsOwners made this experience so much easier than we could've hoped. We recently rescued a second Aussie Cattle Dog, Walker but are still working through some issues. We knew he couldn't stay in the beach house with us (too many people and their dogs already) but were terrified about dropping him off in a kennel due to his having been abandoned so many times by previous owners. Pam and Paul put us at ease; they clearly know what they're doing and how to handle sometimes-dificult dogs. They also sent us regular updates on Walker's progress adjusting to his surroundings which was nice. I definitely recommend taking Pam's advice on visits during your pet's stay! Walker almost didn't want to leave when we went to pick him up. We will definitely use Ocean Sands K9 in the future, if needed. I can not recommend this place more!

3213 N Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil HillsAll the ❤️’s for Mom’s!! We come here every time we visit the Outer Banks, it’s my favorite shop by far, and I always leave with at least one new clothing item. Owners Jess & Derek are super cool, kind, and helpful. We’ve also stayed at their AirBnB upstairs a few times, and it’s AWESOME!!
In shop, Jess has done a fantastic job curating cute clothes and gifts, the skater vibe and gear is on point, and the smoothies are delicious. A must do in OBX! Mom’s for the win ?.

103 Veterans Dr, Kill Devil HillsTLDR: Excellent dog park in Kill Devil Hills. Free. 3 separated fenced grass areas. Friendly, attentive dog owners.Love this park! While visiting the beach for the day, I brought my dogs here to let some energy out. I was not expecting there to be a group of regulars here so early. Right away they welcomed us and our dogs played nicely together. There are three sections to the dog park. One for large dogs on the left, the middle for senior dogs, and the right side for smaller dogs. There are places to sit, waste stations, water, and a dog wash. My dogs had a great time running around and meeting everyone. The park provides ample shade and room to run around. The dog owners were attentive and welcoming. They provided recommendations for places to visit in the area and one gave me a sticker after her dog jumped up on me (so creative and hilarious). Apple maps will take you to a parking lot by the arboretum and pond. The sign does not mention the dog park, but it is a close walk nearby. There is a parking lot closer to the dog park if you do not want to walk as far. Overall, great experience at this park and we recommend it to others!
