TLDR: Excellent dog park in Kill Devil Hills. Free. 3 separated fenced grass areas. Friendly, attentive dog owners.Love this park! While visiting the beach for the day, I brought my dogs here to let some energy out. I was not expecting there to be a group of regulars here so early. Right away they welcomed us and our dogs played nicely together. There are three sections to the dog park. One for large dogs on the left, the middle for senior dogs, and the right side for smaller dogs. There are places to sit, waste stations, water, and a dog wash. My dogs had a great time running around and meeting everyone. The park provides ample shade and room to run around. The dog owners were attentive and welcoming. They provided recommendations for places to visit in the area and one gave me a sticker after her dog jumped up on me (so creative and hilarious). Apple maps will take you to a parking lot by the arboretum and pond. The sign does not mention the dog park, but it is a close walk nearby. There is a parking lot closer to the dog park if you do not want to walk as far. Overall, great experience at this park and we recommend it to others!

Wonderful dog park! We stopped here on our trip. The dog park has several options depending on your dog’s size and age. Great amenities and wonderfully maintained. There was also a playground next to it that my husband and daughter visited while I was with the dogs. It was a great place to break up the trip.

Wonderful Dog park. Well kept and multiple different areas to take your dog.Small dog gates, puppy gates and one for bigger older dogs. Very impressed.

While on vacation we found this awesome dog park. Clean, safe and spacious for all types of dogs. They have 3 separate gated areas depending on the size and age of your pet. Our boy had a blast meeting and playing with new friends! We meet other pet owners to chat with while they played. Everyone was aware of their pets as they played as well. Great park and would go again if we are ever back in town!

Loved the trees in all 3 dog runs. They have an over 30 pound area, a under 30 pound area and an elderly and puppy area. There was grass and sand plus some seating for pet owners. Great place.
