I was able to get an appointment for the next day. The tech and veterinarian were so kind and caring and took time to explain to me all the issues going on with my new rescue. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you!

0 stars if I could. Small dog with a small amount of matting on ears and THEY REFUSED TO CUT HER!?! I will never spend a dime, nor my family at this JOKE of a business ever again. Told me to goto the vet to get her ears trimmed

One of the two girls who were doing the grooming services was at the desk when my daughter and I walked in with our dog, Luna. We've been there several times before with her. She loves everybody there and everybody loves her. It's one of her favorite places to be. We have trouble giving her a bath without making a mess so I decided to splurge and book an appointment for a bath/nail trim. We took Luna in and while we waited, she let the lady in line behind us pet her, including scratching her ears and around her face. She also played with the lady's dog. We got to the desk, showed Luna's vaccination paperwork and tags. My daughter later said she had a weird feeling about the girl as she watched her interact with the customer ahead of us. My daughter is a preteen and she's so loving, but she told me afterward there was something about her that was off. She said she didn't want her working with Luna but she didn't know why. The other girl came up to greet Luna. She reached for her face and then her harness and Luna jumped. Then the girl said, "Nope, I can't do anything with her. She's too aggressive." Lol I couldn't believe it! I almost laughed at her but I was so shocked. She's been there several times before and had played with other dogs and interacted with people including there in the line just before this. It was like she just didn't feel like doing it so she startled Luna so she'd have an excuse not to. I read other reviews about these same women. One said they demanded a picture of the dog with the vaccination paperwork from the vet. That was not something they asked for from us. Other reviews mentioned them as well. They're rude and give off a negative vibe. All the responses to these reviews from Petco are either bot responses or they might as well be. Even if Petco is subbing the grooming services out to a company that's renting the space, the service or lack thereof still reflects on Petco. The way these two looked and carried themselves was so different from how other Petco employees are. Everyone else there is friendly. I don't want to say they were trashy, I just can't think of any other word. After my daughter told me how the lady acted toward the customer ahead of us, we were both glad they didn't end up working with Luna.

Petco grooming in Kernersville is horrible! I went in today to get an appointment for my dog and the lady at the desk was rude in a bad mood and did everything should could to not groom my dog! I walked out and told her I will never be back! No dogs in the grooming area. She told me they were slammed! Do not take your pets here!

I am challenged and cannot walk all over a store without a motorized cart. I had a list of items I needed for my dog. Coco Bear accompanied me to the store. I asked for help and Mitchell, did his best to get me everything on my list. This included trying on different harnesses and collars to match. I also purchased training treats and got to choose from several packages. The next thing was a food dish lift to give Coco Bear easier access. This associate went beyond being kind. He helped me in my decision making. I'm over 70 so I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you Mitchell.

The store is always clean and well stocked every time I visit. The staff are friendly and always offer assistance.
