I purchased a 'new to me' 2017 Chevy Colorado a couple months ago from Kenly Chevrolet. Although buying from a dealer is more expensive, I intentionally bought from them because I assumed the vehicle would be thoroughly checked out. It wasn't. In less than two weeks the transmission began giving me issues. I hadn't even put 80 miles on it yet. During that short time, I realized a usb port wasn't working (it wasn't a fuse issue), so I'm not sure if I also have an electrical problem to deal with. Additionally, I found that the key keeps getting stuck in the ignition. I relayed all of this information to the management team - Garrett and Wanda. Garrett told me he would talk to the owner to see what could be done. It didn't happen. Wanda, who seems to be a very rude person with her tone, body language, etc acted like she simply didn't care. Although I didn't buy the extended warranty, I assumed they would help me in some way considering how quickly these issues occurred after the purchase. They didnt. I finally emailed the owner, Ward, to explain all the issues I was having. He didn't even bother to acknowledge my email. Days later, I sent him another email asking for a response. He replied and told me that he'd discuss a solution with his management team then contact me the following week. It didn't happen. He still hasn't reached out to me. I took the vehicle to two transmission shops and they both told me I needed my transmission replaced or rebuilt. Their quotes were both around $8,000. I felt sick hearing that, because I'd just spent a huge chunk of my life savings to pay cash for this vehicle. On the day of the sale, the Kenly Chevrolet folks were amazing, but now that they have my money (and I have this lemon) it's feels like they don't care at all. I know they could help in some way if they wanted to. Maybe a discount on a replacement transmission? Or a discount for the parts? Something? Anything! At this point though, I do not have any trust or faith in the folks at this dealership. They've made it very clear to me that they do not value their customers, and that once that sale is made -- you're on your own. I only hope that they never have a business treat them in such a shameful, unethical way. It's just not right.

I have purchased my last two vehicles from Kenly Chevrolet. I can honestly say they are the best car dealership in the area. I looked at other dealerships on my recent purchase and the dealership is the best in pricing and ease of purchase.

I have purchased 3 Silverado's from Kenly Chevrolet a 2015 and 2 2023's this year. This is by far the best Chevrolet dealership in NC they are upfront and honest. THEIR IS NO DELEAR MARKUP, I visited 4 other dealership in the local area and all of their vehicles on the lot were marked up above sticker,(calling it a market adjustment) they do not do that art Kenly Chevrolet they treat you like they treat their family fairly and with respect. Great place to buy a new and or preowned vehicle. also Wanda in service is great always honest and treats everyone with respect. I REALLY CAN'TY FIND ANYTHING NEGITIVE TO SAY. THEY ARE JUST GREAT.

Booked an apt for my wife’s Tahoe at 9am through the Chevy app using the required service section. When we got there, the lady we spoke with told us that they would not be able to get the vehicle in until later this afternoon and only if there’s an opening available. I asked why they could not do it at the 9am apt time that we booked. She said in a very rude manner that “we don’t honor appointments booked through the Chevy app.” I could not believe how rude and unprofessional this woman was. We will never again give our business to Kenly Chevrolet.

Marking up vehicles. Come on, do better.7/10/23: You 2 are the only ones with them bc you mark them up! Same with a dealership up in VA Bch that wasted my time and mentioned the markup later in the deal. If the demand is so high, then why are these sitting? There are plenty of other dealerships who are not preying on consumers, and I didn't mind purchasing from the next state over to not be ripped off by a greedy dealership. I'm sure someone will buy it, but your dealership was added to the list of places to not do business at on the Camaro forums. Hope it was worth it. Do better...

Very nice people to work with, however, They owe me over $400 in extended warranty refund. They will not pay it. Every time I call I get a different response/answer or a different answer from everyone. I’ve been dealing with this issue since the beginning of May

They're unfair when it comes to honesty and fairness. I had some work done on truck and their mechanic screwed it up and I had to take it elsewhere to get it right.

We bought a used Yukon from this dealership, they told us everything had been serviced and nothing was wrong with the car, we got it home and less than a week it was in the shop for repairs. Do not recommend buying from this DEALERSHIP!!
