“We were looking for a church home and found it after visiting many churches for 5 years. Grace City is awesome for many reasons: they are bible based, speaking the word of god in a way that you can understand and relate it to your life, welcoming congregation, diverse community, come as you are or give god your best, either way you’re comfortable with there’s no judgment, first Sunday communion, Wednesday bible study, men, women, and marriage ministries, children’s church, community outreach, etc. There is something for everyone and we are so blessed to have found our church home.”
“It was our first church we visited in Charlotte, after we moved to NC. Simple, practical and inspiring message from pastor Dale! Absolutely beautiful and welcoming words from pastor Carrie!
Very much appreciated!”
“My family and I have been visiting New Life Fellowship church every time we're in town visiting family since 2019. Pastor Philip teaches the word in its entirety, leaving you with gospel-based truths for leading a Christ-centered life. I love that this is a multi-cultural church family where everyone makes you feel welcome.”
“Co-Op is great here. Appreciate the church opening up to allow this and really admonish everyone for the amount of love that is poured out on everyone who walks through the doors.”
“Great church! Welcoming congregation and personable staff. Word delivered soundly and worship was beautiful. High energy and engaging programs for all kids ages.”
“Awesome church and great pastors. Visited the church while in town filming a movie. The architecture of the church building, the grounds that the church is on, and the music and people that run this church are first class. Check them out.”

Now I have to wait to see when I'm getting baptized and it could be months.Edit: Mere hours after I wrote the original review, I was informed that I would get the date tomorrow. While I do wish that they had a baptism schedule online, I'm still glad I could get this info. Now I gave them a 4 instead of a 3.”
“One thing that stood out was CCC sense of urgency around reaching the lost and sharing the gospel, and serving the surrounding community. Additionally, while I prefer expository preaching, I've thoroughly benefitted from CCCs biblical preaching. Love the kids program too. Church is large enough to accommodate different needs of the church, while not lacking volunteers. We wish it was closer to us, but regardless we love this church body. They love Jesus and heavily promote loving each other.”
“We've been attending Rocky River Church for about 2 years now. We'd looked for YEARS for a church that wasn't too big where we felt welcomed, and not pressured to give over our financial ability to do so (many churches we attended had a large emphasis on giving, while the preachers/pastors enjoyed ridiculous luxury). We'd also wanted a church where it didn't matter what church you went to when you were younger, where they didnt get hung up on pointing out the differences between Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, etc...where we were all there for Christ...PERIOD. We were really drawn in by Pastor Jimmy's approach to the message. He teaches directly from the Scripture, and always adds historical context...and I've always felt like his messages are easy to understand...whether you are an avid biblical study, or someone finding their way around the Bible for the first time. He is by far one of the best speakers I've sat in front of.We began coming to Rocky River during Covid. Things were extremely tough on our entire society, and churches were not immune to this. However, the messages really helped us through some tough times. As for the person who commented about Jimmy being political, etc. during/since Covid, that is simply not true. On numerous occasions, we've watched Jimmy avoid politics at the pulpit. I KNOW he takes great care not to bring up 'hot button' issues. He preaches/teaches from the Bible. As Christians, we must be willing to sometimes hear difficult truths, to be convicted in our own lives...this is how we grow in Christ. That said, to this day, I've never heard Pastor Jimmy speak politically. Period.Since coming to Rocky River, my family and I have moved to Winston-Salem. However, we still drive the 1 + hour almost every Sunday to get to Rocky River. The fellowship, friendships, and most importantly, lessons we've learned in Christ have enriched mine and my wife's, and our kids' lives. I'm SO proud to say the influence of the youth leaders (Liz and Jeff), of course with Christ, have encouraged my daughter to become a youth pastor...could a father be more proud? Could OUR Father be more proud? If you've never attended Rocky River, check us out. If you're fed up looking for a church for you, like we were, check us out. If you're lost, check us out. No matter your situation, status, or circumstance, Rocky River Church is an AMAZING place to come worship, meet great people, and grow in Christ.”
“They preached the truth out of the King James Bible. And have a good church family. People are really friendly and lovable there. A good place to go to church and learn about Jesus Christ the living God.”
