Cato came through in a clutch. I needed a white outfit for church and I found a pantsuit online. Gratefully they had it in the store. I only got a pair of pants on sale. Yay! The store and the dressing room were clean and the sales associates were nice. Pretty good experience.

Overpriced for my taste, but they are super friendly, helpful, and make you feel welcomed. They do have pretty cloths; some for young adults and old adults. Cloths do fit as is, not smaller or larger.

I had an online order and while completing the return slip I saw you can return in store. I had accidentally placed two of the exact same order online so I was excited to actually go in and see things in person. I went to the Kannapolis Cloverleaf location. There was a sign on the door stating their new hours and I honestly didn’t see it. I haven’t been in a store to shop in almost a year so I was looking in the window instead of noticing the sign. I stopped to look at a shirt and the older very attractive blonde lady behind the counter screamed out “ma’am we close in three minutes” I immediately walked up to the front explaining I didn’t know they were closing so soon. Only to be told there’s a sign on the door. I explained I work in customer service and I understand it’s probably been a long day and it’s ok I just need to make this return. She took the bag and her body language made it VERY clear she did not want to do the return. I then even asked with a laugh “do you not like your job?” I was trying to diffuse the situation and bond with her because I work a service job as well. Then she looked at me with such hostility and said “I love my job. I’ve been here two years and my manager loves me!! She has been here forever!” At that point, I realized how a rude she was being and I hate confrontation. this was way aggressive over a small return. I told her just give it back I will mail it in. I have worked from home and only shopped online for the past year. This was my first trip to a store. I was disrespected and I will not be back. I usually shop at Lane Bryant but their prices have gotten so high and I love the faith based tees that Cato sells. But now, that’s just not enough. Honestly the clothes are thin and don’t last as long as the Lane Bryant ones. Having a job is a privilege. Someone should remind this lady. I work with the public and I know how rude people can be but if I’m giving you pink n Jesus maybe try to be at the very least professional. The one star is for the very kind lady cleaning at the front. She spoke and thanked me for coming in. Give her a raise cause she values her job!! Kindness matters.
