This building has been around since 1895 and is still run by the same family... we stopped in to see if they sold corn and bird seed. Needless to say they do. We got a 50 pound bag of corn for $11.00, a 25 pound bag of birdseed for $13.00 and a 20 pound bag of Black Oil Sunflower Seeds for $20.00.We will definitely be going back again. We recommend that anybody who feeds birds and other critters stop on in and give them a try.

Friendly- Jimmy is so easy to talk to and will help you find what you need. He has seeds, tools, breads, jellies, juices, apple butter, flower bulbs, animal fed, bolts etc. I remember going there as a child getting horse feed.

1930’s era charming stop that has custom seed blends and a multitude of items that big box stores don’t have. I walked in for layer feed and left with a trunk full of bags. They also have uncoated grass seed, safe for free range chicken flocks which is super hard find these days.Daddy Pete’s was also, a must have.

If you need bird supplies this is your place. Julian mill is the oldest mill around. All my feed comes from here.

Stopped by as I was not able to find what I needed at the Big Box Stores. Julian Mill had exactly what I was looking for and at a good price. Eric seemed very knowledgeable and willing to share the history of the mill and the surrounding area. I found this place as a breath of fresh air to my soul given the current world issues and problems.Thank You Eric for your friendly helpful service. You have gained me as a customer.James

Whether it is hardware, grass seed, bird seed, fertilizer, chicken feed, or just plain good company and conversation, JMC is the place to be reminded that not everything has to move at warp speed these days, and good old fashioned southern ambience and hospitality and the smell of grain and feed and farming and agriculture is not a thing of the past , but will always be in our future!

Love their bird feed. And have awesome memories going with my grandpa with a load of corn and making mill.
