New residents to the area, I needed boots for my husband and son as a Christmas present. It was as if i was invisible... they never spoke a word, smiled or offered help.... I guess I didn't fall in the regular catalog. Sad, because I could have. I told my family if I'm gonna drop a wad of money I'd atleast like it to be appreciated. Will take my business elsewhere.

I’ve been going to Greene’s for years at the old location usually buy my boots at Greene’s we went there today and was looking to get 2 pair of danner hiking boots and my wife wanted a carhartt jacket. But when we asked about the coat she said we don’t sale women’s carhartt. Rude but ok so I went to try on boots sit down put on one then get up to try it out the lady who works there tosses my old shoe out of her way and takes my seat. Then when I asked about getting the boots she said I would have to pay upfront and they didn’t like ordering specialty items. So we had to drive all the way to Greensboro bought $400 bucks worth of boots and $150 jacket their loss. They were rude to both of us guess I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Stopped in today just to check out this store which was located next to my actual destination. The lady working the counter was very nice and helpful. I just took a quick walk through as I wasn't really there to shop. The selection of clothing was good and solid name brands. If I were in the market for outdoor work clothes this would be a great place to check out Great selection of boots!

I went into the general store on a Wednesday , early afternoon. I was not greeted or offered help. I was surprised at what the store offered because I expected something different for a general store. Here you can find work and outdoor related clothing and shoes. Lots of options available

I took my son to find hiking boots here. I was shocked at how knowledgeable the salesperson was. She wasn’t just willing to spend time helping us, she insisted we take the time to do the job right.

Two women working there needed to separate from each other and offer to help people. After standing in shoes, thinking someone would come help, I walked halfway to the front of the store before one of them saw me and started coming my way.

Great find:Darlene the lady was so incredibly helpful. Bought an extra pair of Merrells. Came with socks and great customer service. Showed me a Hickers tie for new shoes so the laces didn't keep coming untied. In there for 5 minutes and back on the hwy with a smile.
