The good first. It's one of the neatest most organized Dollar generals I've ever been in. Now the story ends there for the good.
For the past 4 months two or three times a month I have asked the nice lady named Ray to give me the veterans discount their company advertises for on the second Wednesday of every month.
Every time I go in the store I ask has it been rectified and I get the same story that I've talked to my manager and I've talked to the district manager and it's falling on deaf ears.
I will be going on the veterans websites and the places that advertise people who give discounts to veterans and tell of Dollar general's practices.
She told me she has talked to her manager she has talked to the district manager and all of them seem clueless or do not care to do anything about it. I pulled up the website policy on the veterans discount and showed Ray. She said that she also showed her manager and district manager the same thing. I go in there today and she still has no idea on how to get it to work because her managers are ignoring the issue.
Way to go Jamesville Dollar general and your veteran care!

For the third time, I've gone to this Dollar General and it is closed well before the posted closing time. Very frustrating, waste of gasoline, waste of time.

I am not sure what has happened with the outside upkeep but its pretty sad. Dirty diaper and other trash even close to the door with no outside receptacle for customers to use. The grass is currently tall with weeds growing in the parking lot.

Aisles stay full of merchandise can't get a cart down some. No one at checkout they are outside smoking.even when they are in store you can't get anyone to come to counter don't know where they're hiding Mngmt is non existence shop elsewhere if possible

A local Walmart of sorts I guess. This location has more than most DG's I am accustomed too. Boxes were everywhere, not sure what that was about... poor storage I hope. The customer service was great once you could find someone, they seem over worked.

Stock day with boxes everywhere. Nobody at the counter and self help wasn't working.

The store within inside is a bit cramp and little hard to move around the items in the middle of the isle, but the older women was quite rushing for me when I had a bit of stuff in my cart. There was only 1 person behind me I really don’t know why rush. The other employees are perfect and quick with customers.

If you can shop anywhere else before getting to Jamesville do it. This store closes 2 hours early most nights and closes randomly through out the day. Today it was closed at 6:40 when I stopped in to get somethings on my way home from work. There are always boxes blocking the aisle. The store is small and cramped as it is then they fill the limited amount of walking space with boxes. They are always understaffed due to overworked and under paid. When they do get good people in there they run them off by working them to death. The people are nice enough but the store is poorly ran. I do not know if this is the fault of the manger, the owners, or someone in between. But somebody needs to do better. It is a shame because it is so close to my home but you never know if they will be open.

I had no idea y'all were privately owned now. Corporate DG should start allowing all stores to close at 5pm on Saturday's. I'm sure it's fantastic for business and all the small town markets they specialize in. Also those 72 hrs the self-checkout worked was amazing!! Totally worth the wait!!
