“I am in Minnesota, I purchased a Velodyne 15 sub from Ed and my experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Ed was kind enough to ship me this very large, heavy and bulky speaker and it was everything he represented. If you’re looking for vintage audio equipment I would strongly suggest you give him a try. Thank you Ed for a very pleasant buying experience!”

“This was an unexpected, awesome find! I didn't know it existed until I was trying to find something on Google and ordered it from Etsy, only to find out with the receipt that it was coming from the town I live in! So, I went to check it out. I live this shop! So many beautiful repurposed pieces of furniture and cute knick knacks! I found a new place to shop!”

“What can I say... Speechless in a good way! My coworker has been talking about this place forever. Finally got there WHEWWWW! There were at least 20-30 cakes on display. I tried 4 different slices. Each we're very moist, memorable, and well made. Red Velvet, Honeybun, Apple Crisp, and Strawberry. My Mom got Strawberry Pie and Coconut Pie; She Loved them”

“Lots of stuff to see. I prefer to go when it's cool, because the HVAC there is pretty much just ventilation. My kids (mid to late teens) always find something they want, so it's usually a good outing that is fairly reasonable for price most of the time.”

“Whether you visit this establishment for the one-of-a-kind, stunning, and reasonably priced furniture and unique vintage pieces, or for the engaging, informative and often hilarious conversation you'll share with Carolyn, the gorgeous proprietor and curator, you won't regret stopping in. I know nothing about mid-century postmodern whatever, and my weekly visits have become a master class in style, history and culture. Conveniently located right next to Common Grounds, a wonderful coffee house (try the iced Angela Bassett or the Robert Downey Jr.) If Lindley Park Vintage doesn't have with you're looking for, Carolyn and her supremely knowledge cohort Gordy will find it for you or refer you appropriately. Make this part of your regular Greensboro haunts.”

“Kathee and Gail out do themselves every year! I’ve been traveling to they’re BEAUTIFUL Red Barn with my sisters for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. Visiting this special place sets the tone for my Holiday season and each time I come away with Heirloom quality pieces to add to my Christmas collection. This year in particular I purchased a small wooden sleigh from Germany. I plan to dress it with fresh greens and place it atop my great room built-ins. They stock an amazing collection of French zinc pales and planters, gorgeous French baskets in all sizes, Imported linens, glassware, bread boards, dough bowls and much much more. It’s one of those places that you can circle around over and over and find something new to look at each time. These women are uber helpful and you can shop photos posted on Instagram and they even ship… if you can’t make a show in person. Follow them on Instagram @thefrenchfarmerswife… you won’t be sorry!”

“I've known Ruth Olbrych for a long time. Not only is she a business woman who is dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate about her field and her beautiful antique Chinese furniture, but over the years she has become a good friend. The first time I met Ruth was when looking for an antique Chinese armoire to hide our TV and other things. We had been to a well known location in NY, and were inspired about the idea but not enough inspired by the items there to purchase. Somehow (!) I "found" Ruth and saw pieces on her web site. Connecting with her, we went to see her warehouse in Maine, driving there from MA and seeing family on the way. OK, just 5 minutes at her place left us breathless! Never mind the super-plain cabinet we went there for. Seeing the amazing armoire with an entire family story carved on the front was like stepping into another world. Whether in New York or even in San Francisco, we had not seen anything like it. The beautifully deep, rich red color and dark, somewhat worn metal hardware was brought to life by the softly highlighted figures embellishing the piece. The short story: Ruth has beautiful, high quality pieces and customer service to match. This was the first experience. A few years later I bought a pair of lovely Elm tables with wicker centers that we used together as a coffee table. Again, a very positive shopping experience. We didn't go to Maine that time but the whole experience was 100% great. As a designer and colorist, I have always had the greatest confidence in working with Ruth professionally and recommending Antiques by Zaar and Ruth as often as possible.”
