On Monday August 14th, Walgreens lost me as a customer. I went into the store to fill my prescription. The technician said it would be ready on Wednesday, the 16th. She said it was too early. I said I last filled it on 7/13/23,&that today was actually 32 days since the last fill. She said to me:”Walgreens doesn’t go by the last day filled, they go by the date you PICKED up the prescription “ I picked up the prescription on 7/18/23. The Rx was a controlled substance written for a 30 day supply. I never, ever attempt to refill early according to HOW the med was written,I was 2 days past the legal fill date. I debated the sheer nonsense of this, however the tech insisted that EVEN THOUGH THE LAW SAYS 30 days, and legally I was right,WALGREENS has a rule that THEY COUNT FROM THE DATE YOU PICK UP THE RX. I myself actually worked as a tech for 32 years and I am well aware of the actual law governing controls. I must reiterate that LEGALLY I WAS WITHIN (actually PAST) what would be appropriate. I realized that I was wasting my breath,my time, and my patronage. I’m not sure WHY Walgreens has such a mandate, instead of making sure that the customer doesn’t abuse the required time limit, and I also realize it’s their store, their business practice,so I don’t agree, and I’m making it MY business to NOT do business with them again. The only reason I filled my prescriptions at Walgreens is because it’s literally a 5 minute drive from my house and sometimes I don’t want to make a trip to the base for one prescription. This particular day I went straight to the base, filled my prescription with NO problem and as a point of comparison I said to the pharmacy tech:” is it too early?” She replied:” No,actually your 2 days late”.I’m sure of a couple of things: you may not miss my business, but I will share my experience with others should the need arise.

Hoping this is for the 1600 Gum Branch location!!? Didn't catch it before I was already here. THIS is my Walgreens!!? Love it here. ALWAYS well stocked, clean, well staffed and they're always busy. But also ready to help if the need arises!!? Pharmacy staff is also great!!❤️ THEY even give me courtesy calls when I forget to pick up my meds for too long!!??? ONLY reason I say that they need more staff is only because they're soooo overworked!! Really busy pharmacy and they just deserve to have more staff available for them!!? Just doesn't seem fair to them!!? But even when they're crazy busy during a rush?? ALWAYS thorough, professional, take their time with patients/don't rush the client and are ALWAYS friendly, smiling and happy!! I WON'T go anywhere else!!! BEEN WITH Walgreens for over 30 YEARS now!!??♀️?? THAT'S saying something, especially coming from a Nurse!!!??❤️(I'm crazy particular and critical with anything in the medical field!!? But can't help it!! As I know how it SHOULD be done!!???)

Always helpful very nice people working there. Always ask if I need help and have helped me problem solve with issues in regards to work. Just overall good experience only Walgreens I go in for my own items unless I’m working in another location

Extremely sanitary bathrooms ? included. But what I came in for was Blue Bell ice cream ? which they had little to no inventory. My bad luck maybe next time.

If I could give zero stars I will. Don the manager refused to fill my prescription even though my doctor sent it in personally. Also, this is the most inefficient Walgreens I’ve experienced in my whole life. Plan on waiting 30 minutes for you medication

The attention is quite good in the photo department, the girl who attends has a very good attitude, always with a smile and above all respects your preference on how you like your photo to be taken, I am Hispanic and I felt as respected as anyone in the U.S.Thank you ?

If I could give zero stars I would! The pharmacy staff at this Walgreens location is rude and disrespectful especially Melina and Lori! They really should get some training on customer service people are usually visiting the pharmacy because they don’t feel well. The least the pharmacy people could do is have a good attitude and be nice.

I went today at 8:30am to go pick up very important medications for my Kidneys. Was told unfortunately they ran out of that medication to come back at 4 and it will be filled. Went back at 6pm after waiting all day, plus waited in line for 45 freaking minutes and they still did not have it. Every freaking time I go here I have to wait nearly 20 to 30 minutes, and I still don't have the medication I desperately need!! Unacceptable!!! I'm looking for another pharmacy!!!!

I don’t post reviews unless I’ve had a traumatic experience. But I wish I could give this place zero stars. I was having a panic attack in the drive thru pharmacy because I was out of town and asked if there was anyway the pharmacist could ask my insurance to spot me a few of my anticonvulsants because my medication was left at home. And she basically said there was nothing she could do. This medication if stopped abruptly can be life threatening. I was looking for my ID in the medication box as I was refilling a different medication as well and she pipes up with “it’s in the bag, I told you that already” very helpful as I’m on the verge of tears throughout this entire situation…

This is. Why I don't use this store. I dropped off some film 35 mm single pic of each neg. I went to pick up film and no one was at the counter. So of course there was a ten minute wait. When the manager gave me my pictures. Seven from 36 there were grainy and dark. So I ask to see the negatives. Oh we keep those. I said so u keep my personal property since I own the film and your job was just to process and print one picture of each. Now this was my daughter s law school graduation. Which I can't redo. The neg will tell me if the mistake was made in processing the negatives which as a x photography from the Marines who use to do everything by hand in a lab on ship and the base can identify the problem. No negative gave me my answer. So I tell the manger I want my property back. We can't do that. So I told him I won't pay for this. He said I don't blame u but charge me 21.00 for a bag of dulcolax. Small and 28 oz of Gatorade. I said really reminds me how bad this store is. I tell u if getting ripped off is your cup of tea. This is the store to go

I’ve gone to this location for years & I won’t be going anymore. The pharmacy is absolutely horrible now. I’m going on 6 hours of waiting for a prepackaged prescription. There’s currently people in line who put in orders to be filled YESTERDAY and still can’t pick them up right now as they’re not ready. People depend on these medications. There’s absolutely no reason for this much back up. If there’s prescriptions that need to be filled they need to be filled the day they are dropped off like they have been in the past. There’s been multiple times I’ve been at the drivethru to get my order only to wait for lengthy personal conversations to finish then was talked to as if I was inconveniencing them or interrupting their conversation while doing their jobs. Not the entire staff is like this, Liz has always been very professional & amazing at her job. But a lot of the other employees very noticeably could care less and customers definitely can tell and are paying for it.

I went to Walgreens around a week ago. I had been told the day prior my medication would be ready in an hour or two. I went the following day around 2 and they said it would be ready by 5:30. I got there at 5:30 and waited in the drive thru line. There was probably 7 cars, not too bad of a line. By 6:00, the line had not moved. I went inside and the line inside was even longer. I went back out to the drive thru line and approached the window at 7. They had the shade down so I went inside because I could still see people in line.I walked to the front and a lady said we closed at 7 and are not taking any other customers. I said that is ridiculous because I had been waiting for over an hour in line. She continued to ignore me so I asked to speak to the manager. A man came out who was just as rude. He repeated exactly what she said and I explained the situation to him. He really did not care until I said it was heart medication that was needed. He ended up getting me my medicine but everyone who was in line behind me was not helped. The organization at this Walgreens is beyond terrible. I’ve never not had a problem at this pharmacy. I was in today and overheard a woman working in the pharmacy say “all of these people don’t know we close at 2 and they’re just going to be waiting here but I guess they’ll figure it out.” She said this while laughing. Something needs to be done to this store. It is awful and the employees are just as bad.

Go to any other Walgreens BESIDES this one. This is my 3rd time in 2 days here trying to get my medication. Waited in drive thru line for 2 hours, my THIRD time circling around they close the drive thru and put up a sign saying to come in. They have absolutely no idea what's going on with my meds. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Going on almost 3 hours here, with nobody having a damn clue what's going on with my meds.

I was greeted immediately apon entering the store by a very friendly woman at the front counter. The place was very clean and well stocked. The isles were easy to find for the labels were high you could see from any isle. Once checking out the lady was very friendly and was quick to check out and efficient.
