I am always at Lowes from the smallest of projects to large residential home improvements on a weekly to monthly basis. This time, i did a photoshoot for my 5 year old's birthday because she wanted to go to Lowes to be with the flowers. The indoor garden center is beautiful and we cannot wait for spring!!!

I bought a carpet from Lowe's. I chose the stain master pet protect carpet line which was no where near a cheap carpet. They have a sub contacting company do the install. When the installers where here they barely spoke and when they did it was not in a language I understood, but they were nice. I had my cable hooked up to a splitter and the install guy decided to bury the cable under my carpet with the splitter, he cut out a channel in the padding to make room for the cable but the splitter itself was about two feet from the front of my entertainment center which you could feel the hard block under the carpet. The carpet could have been installed in two pieces with only one seam but instead they patched one side with two pieces so now I have two seams instead of just one. After they left I noticed a spot like a round circle like glue or something the fibers where all stuck down and it was hard. I called the install company right away and they came back the next day. He said that it was a defect in the carpet and it would have to be replaced, I thought maybe it was from the seam but he pulled up the carpet and it wasn't near the seam. He took pictures and left the carpet not installed in that corner of the room because he said it would have to be replaced, I also told him about the splitter and how you could feel it and with it being a block it could cut thru my new carpet and also I heard it was a fire hazard because they heat up so he cut the cable on the other side of the wall and pulled the splitter out, remind you he cut out the padding where all this was so now I have spots that have no padding underneath. Corporate called me in reguards to my carpet and stated the pictures did not show the defect so they wanted me to cut a 12 by 12 section out of my carpet and send it to them, I told them where the carpet has the defect is in plain site and not covered by furniture and I asked if I did that if it would guarantee me a new carpet and they said no, so I could have a spot cut out of my carpet and they will not fix it??? I told them to send out their insurance agent to look at it in person they said they do not do that. I asked for a return and they don't do that and could not give me a discount?? They then stated I could hire my own carpet expert to come into my home and write up a report at my expense which I told them I just paid shy of two thousand dollars for one room I was not going to hire a expert when their own company that they sub out to install the carpet told them it was a defect in the carpet. I told them my carpet was still not tacked down on two sides because the carpet installer told me I would be getting a new carpet so they sent out the installers again to finish installing it. They also said he would put a patch in the carpet with the left over carpet which I was not happy about to start with because I didn't pay for a hack job. The installer came out the next day and finished tacking it down and he couldn't believe they were not going to replace it, I asked him about the patch and he said he wasn't told to do that so he would have to wait for them to schedule it to be done, they called and scheduled it for a few days out they said they would be here in the morning, I waited all morning and they didn't show. I called in the afternoon to see why they didn't show up and they said he was doing another job and could come later in the evening, even though I took a day off from work to be here I told them to forget it. Corporate called me to confirm that I didn't want the installers back in my home i told them I paid a lot of money for one room and I don't want a hack job I told them I would be saving my money and going with another company that actually cares about their customers and are not out to scam them. She said ok and I haven't heard a word from them. The time I dealt with this was from October to December which is absurd. I will never go there or recommend them to anyone. I would give them a negative five star if it was an option

To Management of Lowes in Jacksonville NC Store…I’d like to have management recognize employee ‘DORA’ who assisted me in checking out at ‘Self-Service’ station on 1/25/24 at 9:17am hours: Sales # FSTLAN04 3229842 Trans# 922499728…DORA has a maturity far above that of her contemporaries, she is well developed in both oral & written communication. DORA displays a ‘Can Do’ attitude rather than one who would just ‘Kick Up’ dust with excuses in finding a solution in helping this Senior Disabled Marine Veteran. DORA showed empathy with her ‘Spirit To Serve’ with ‘Lightning-like’ speed in addressing my difficulties in trying to check out just four sticker numbers you would put on a mailbox… This simple task is very difficult for this Proud Old Timer; DORA with a smile in her voice asked politely if should could assist me after watching me struggle. DORA’s genuine kindness, dedication, and professionalism brings great credit upon herself and her team. DORA’s actions were in good keeping with the highest standards of the Lowes Brand. I went to Lowe’s on Sunday to look for a new washer/dryer. The sales person (I am sorry I do not remember her name) was very helpful and informative as I told her what I wanted in the product. She showed me different brands, made suggestions, but did not pressure me into a purchase. Well, I did make a purchase and she said that it would be delivered the next day (Monday) also told me I would be notified of the timeframe of delivery-which I received an email that evening the delivery would be between 9-1. About 8 am in Monday I received a call from Carlos would said if ok they would be delivering in the next 35-45 minutes. Around 8:30 Carlos and Frank arrived - they were polite, respectful and very attentive in taking away the old washer/dryer, sweeping area before installing new washer/dryer, ensuring it was working, and cleaned up all packing from the washer/dryer. I am very happy with all the Lowe’s team -
