Will not be back! Staff in the field helpful and friendly, but office staff rude and should not be working in customer service industry! Redfearn's in Cedar Point has better prices, great customer service and better quality stock!

Dont waste your time . I'm a delivery driver that was going out there to take a delivery directly from the restaurant I work for . I said, yeah, I will take delivery. I wanted to see if they had a bonsai tree . But I never asked because the woman who ordered food that I had to go all the way down That backwoods road with all the potholes and everything else on old 30 wrote 0.00 in the tip spot while smiling at me . If you have stray male cats that haven't been neutered , It's a good place to relocate them ? . Remember, they are good for cleaning out rodents

I love this 40 acre nursery! Super easy to get to , not fussy, just plants and people who live them AND cats. I love their selection of Philos and the prices are reasonable for them. They have so w I haven't even heard of! Buy local! You can also pay over the phone and pick up! They post on FB when they get NEW in!

We couldn't have asked for any better customer service than what we got from everyone we delt with at Grant's Creek! My boss is putting in a new RV Park in Newport and we needed trees and shrubs to plant that will meet State requirements. Grant's Creek went above and beyond helping us determine what would survive in the sandy soil as well as being esthetically pleasing and meeting the State guidelines. They stayed in touch with us all the way up until they delivered our plants. All of the trees and shrubs were the healthiest I've seen anywhere in a long time. The cost was on point as well!

I went to buy some crape Myrtle’s $135 each to plant along property lines. Girl at office was really nice and helpful. Unfortunately, when I took the roads in the nursery to get to the plants the field employees parked their tractors dead center of the road so had to go between pond and tractor to get by only to have another tractor dead center of road couldn’t get by. Asked man and woman employees if could move tractor over and they COMPLETELY IGNORED ME! Some other man, from the first tractor blocking the road came up and started telling me to go around the vehicles and back up drive down some path refused to move vehicles. These ppl couldn’t be any more rude. Yeah, customers expect to keep running around the maze avoiding tractors in the middle of narrow dirt roads. Ok, guess my planting days are over not worth the ignorance you run into at these places. Oh well, that’s a $1000 that will stay in my savings account. Video from my dash cam of workers ignoring my request to move tractor to get by.

My husband and I were very excited to check out this large nursery on the east side of Onslow county. We love to attend nurseries and frequently shop Pender and Duplin county plant nurseries. I have to say that this nursery underwhelmed us and I would not recommend making the drive if you do not live close by. Large tree selection. Limited rose selection (drift and knockouts) - no floribunda or Austin’s. It was an ok nursery with typical options for the landscape.

Great selection of perennials and annuals, vegetables, shrubs and trees. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plus, dogs and cats that allowed me to pet them! A beautiful ride to this local nursery.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I have been twice in the last year. If you like customer abuse - this is the place for you!! While they may have acres of trees and some bushes, NOTHING is well marked and even with a map, everything it is difficult to find.
The first time I went, I spent over $2000. Half of the plants I bought died. I told them about it and they didn’t give a flying fig. Many things are quite unhealthy looking, so you must be very careful.
The biggest drawback (besides it being in the middle of nowhere), is that the lady who owns the place is horrible person. She was extremely rude and ugly the very first time I went, and even insinuated my Latin American landscaper was trying to steal from them! I was furious. I came again today with my landscaper, only to have her berate me over my question about Bradford Pear trees. Instead of politely suggesting alternatives and offering to help me find something suitable instead, she showed me that she is a nasty, hateful, ill person. Repeat HORRIBLE person!! She acts like she couldn’t care less about selling plants and that questions are an imposition!!
I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! I even told the checkout girl that. I have never in my life met such a nasty, rude human being. But wait - maybe she is not human! Run away from this crass individual as fast as you can!!
Spend the gas money you save by not going there and spend it on a local nursery that has pleasant and helpful staff!
We bought the few things I did find, and then ended up at Red Ferns in Cedar Point for some pink muhly grass. (Grants creek had about 10 seriously sick looking tiny muhly plants in a cup size container.) Every single person at Red Ferns had a smile for us and helped us find everything we needed. The pink Muhly grass there was beautiful and HUGE! And affordable! I will never waste money with Grants Creek again! And you can be very sure that I will tell all of my friends and neighbors about this woman!!

Visited this amazing place for the first time this past week 3/28/24 as I was visiting my grandkids and daughter. As I am from out of town and my passion is plants we decided to visit, and Im glad we did. I was extremely impressed buy the selection of hard to find plants, as well as the friendly lady behind the counter and all the adorable animals. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Good, locally grown and acclimatized nursery stock. I purchased a new tree to replace a dead one in my backyard. Hopefully, it will grow as quickly as all the reference books promise. Can't wait for next spring when it should flower.
