Aggressive upsell on their packing services for insurance purposes. They basically refused to utilize my original carrier box which had no dents or issues and contained the original bubble wrap despite my objections. The store was already backed up because they were doing the same with all customers ahead of us. This business is money oriented more than it is customer oriented.

I've had a post office box for a few years with them. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Only downside is that you can't pick up your mail if they're closed.

I went to 3 other shipping places to return an Amazon shipment. Every other place told me that they couldn't do anything for me. I came here on a last resort and they told me they could help me as long as I changed the way I was returning my package. They helped me with each step to change the status of my return to where they could ship back my Amazon return. Everyone there was super helpful and amazing. I will always go back to them for my shipping needs.

**MILITARY SHIPPING TO FPO AP** Beware, these stores, including the one on base, “do not offer the same rate” one would get by going directly to the currier. Those are almost verbatim their words after I called to complain. I paid $234 for a footlocker to Japan via USPS with them. Had to go with it because I was deploying the following day. Later that day I went to USPS website, entering the information on the receipt provided by Going Postal, options as cheap as $34 are available for that container. Further, Priority Mail, which according to them was the cheapest available to them, would have been $144 had I taken it directly to USPS. So, I paid at least $110 and at most $200 MORE by using their service. Btw, the footlocker was sealed and ready to ship, so no they were not charging for packing. SKIP THESE STORES AND GO STRAIGHT TO THE CURRIER.**UPDATE**Regarding the reply. Your tone and demeanor exemplify your service. So you agree, as you did then, “the PO may be cheaper.” I’m just confirming, “IT IS.” That’s all I am pointing out. Not sure why so defensive. Regarding proof, sure! Here is a picture of the shipment information form provided by your store. Anyone can go to USPS website, get a quote based on the dimensions and weight on the form, shipping from 28547 to 96610. Priority shipping is about $144 (may have changed slightly), $100 cheaper than using your store. You are right, using your all capital letters, I “ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT ship that item for $34 at the PO.” However, it has nothing to do with size and weight as you so emphatically point out. Had my box been filled with the type of items covered under Media Mail, “same weight and size,” I could have shipped it for now $35.42. Again, open USPS, enter the info, there is your proof. Regardless, as you have already pointed out, it could be cheaper using the PO instead of your services. I agree and confirmed it is true. Consequently, my recommendation remains to all my fellow military service members, skip the middle person (in this case Going Postal) and go straight to the “courier.”

The staff there was so helpful to me today. She walked me through what I needed to do to complete my Amazon return on the Amazon site so that I could complete it while I was there. She didn't need to do that but she did and it saved me so much time and effort. I genuinely appreciate that! 10 out of 10 recommend

I gave three stars because I have good experiences with the staff here. There is one major failure point in their procedures that needs to be addressed though. There needs to be internal tracking of what packages are shipped from this facility.Apparently when shipping with USPS there is a convoluted hand of process from Goin Postal, to a third party distributor, and then USPS. If anything happens between your drop off and arrival to the USPS facility in Fayetteville then you are just sore outa luck.In my case a high valued electronic device was dropped off to Goin Postal for shipping to Texas about a month ago. Tracking from USPS still reports that the only action I have taken was creating a shipping label but nothing has been dropped off yet. USPS states that they cannot reimburse me for the value of the lost package because there is no proof that I have shipped anything according to their systems. I then called Goin Postal and asked for any proof that I had made a transaction was was told that there simply isn't. All and all I'm out about 1000$ in loss of belongings and shipping costs. Not to mention the customer I sold to was left hanging for about two weeks before I had to ship another device to them because of my failed shipping adventure. The USPS has advised me to drop off directly to one of their post offices as oppose to using Goin Postal.Goin Postal said USPS is bad at updating tracking and I should be leery about using them.My advice... get proof of reception and responsibility at every turn for high value items no matter who you ship with.Side note. If USPS fails to scan the reception of your item there is nothing you can do via their automated systems.
