“First time going. You can't get in unless you're active or retired military. Or you know someone that was in or currently in the military. It's a nice little place to hang out with friends. Very easy to find.”

“Pros: As an avid thrifter, I have been to all four locations on numerous occasions in the Jacksonville and Wilmington area. My experiences at this Goodwill location far superseded my expectations. This store has come a long way since the change of staffing, re-organization and overall cleanliness of the store. The current staff members are amazing and always very willing to help answer any questions about the store. One of the store Managers, Cassidy, was great in answering my questions about the general procedures of Goodwill. I can tell her leadership is probably a reason the store is doing well. The two best cashiers are Jamarcy and Iris. They are very professional, personable and always treated me with the respect. One of the greatest things that I value the most when shopping at this Goodwill is the staff's ability to get to know their customers on a personal but professional level. These two cashiers did just that. Also whenever I buy bigger items, Tony was there to help assist me with the items. He is an overall great guy overall. There is also a lady named Angel who is always very nice, professional and personable whenever she's putting out carts. Plus, I don't recall her name but there is another lady who is always so positive. Her positive attitude definitely make the shopping experience there at the Goodwill great.Overall a fantastic Goodwill location.Cons: (Disclaimer: This is not the majority) I am not aware of the pricing strategy but I have noticed some items are unreasonably priced. Example: A $4.99 carabiner was priced at $9.99 or damaged "designer" purses priced at $24.99. My recommendation is to price it accordingly to current demographic of the customer base.”
