“In my opinion, this place has improved since the last few times I've been, specifically in the check out process.
I was the third customer with a full cart behind a person with one item and a person with about 20 items. Another employee opened and started the check-out process. The first cashier jumped in to help with the multiples I had of about 14 items and they worked together to get everyone through the check-out process efficiently and effectively.
As a side note, Aldi's now requires all similar items of the same price to be scanned separately. For example: if you buy flavored 12 packs of water and purchase 2 units of 4 different flavors, it has to be scanned as 4 separate items instead of 8 units of 1 of the flavors.”
“The store was clean and the shelves were stocked with what I was looking for. The deli rotisserie chicken was really good. The cashier that rang me up was friendly and seemed to be having a really good day (she was dancing a little).”
“This place is great for produce and dried food such as pasta, rice, beans etc. Good for picking up eggs bread and milk. Meat prices are high though. We now head over to IGA Buffalo Shoals for our meat after buying the rest of our groceries here. Also their 'fresh' bread is brought in frozen in the mornings. If they fixed these two issues I would give 5 stars. Staff are always great!”

“The bakery here is absolutely amazing!!! I brought in a picture of a cake I found on Pinterest and Penny the main cake decorator did absolutely fantastic on my sons cake and we couldn’t have been happier it looked just like the picture we should her and it tasted absolutely amazing! definitely will be using them for any cake needs from now on!”
“Clean, organized and consistent. Been coming here for years and the staffing is consistent with the same people. In my opinion, that says a lot about a business if they have a low turnover rate. Ive visited the other Food Lions in the area but this one is by far my favorite to go to.”

“This is just like other Food Lion - it has good selection of items. It sells milk, meat, produce, grocery items, seafood, and many other items. But for some reason this place seems to be less stocked than others as I can’t find good selection of meat.
Parking is good, store is clean and well-lit. Overall a good Food Lion.”

“Finally stopped in here late this morning after months of passing it by to or from Riverbend Creamery. I was only going to grab a beverage for the ride as I had no idea they had a kitchen. Given that I skipped breakfast, I decided to indulge since they serve it (breakfast) all day. I was surprised by the significant portion size given the ingredient cost increases in the last couple of years. Good, basic trio with eggs, bacon, and shredded hashbrowns (though they had 3 different option), toast, and a beverage included at no extra cost. They also have weekly sandwich and 'plate' specials. Definitely not my last stop.”

“Denver mart is always open! I don't believe I've ever seen them closed! I'm not even sure if they close for Christmas! And it's super convenient for us, because it's about 2 minutes down the road from families house when we go to visit!”

I've gotten to know the employees and I have to say it really burns me up to see some of these reviews complaining about only one register open and shelves not being stocked because you all need to realize they , like every business are given a tight budget for labor! These people work their tails off trying to keep the store clean and stocked while also trying to run register, they aren't allowed to have more than 2 people working at a time most days and some days only allowed one person! So, when you see some of the shelves empty, that's why... When you see an employee outside smoking, that's probably the first break they've gotten in 4 or 5hrs! The two ladies that usually work during the day are constantly running around the store trying so hard to clean and stock and take care of their rude customers that do nothing but fuss and complain about them not standing behind the register all day while at the same time they're complaining about items not in stock! Come on people! Can you be in 2 places at once? These ladies do their best!”

“It's that time of year again. Every years with give Friends and Business Associates a little gift which in most cases is a bottle of the Biltmore Estates Christmas Wine.We've already bought the wine a couple of weeks ago at Total Wine in Huntersville but now in pursuit of some nice Christmas Wine Bags. These are normally readily available this time of year in Dollar Stores.There is one not too far from here but since we were going over to Lincolnton for Lunch at Italiano's , my wife pointed out that we were going to be going past a Dollar General and we could stop there. Neither of us had ever been to this particular store.We stopped in and it appears that Christmas Wine Gift Bags are not out yet but expected in after Halloween. They did have some other nice Christmas Shopping Bags however, so we picked up a couple of those.Store is very nice and well organized, and the store staff is very helpful.Since we are in Lincolnton a couple of times a year, we will definitely be back as it gets closer to Christmas.”
