I am soo happy i bumped into this shop on the porsche forum. I got quoted $20k from my NY shop to remove and replace transmission. It didn't make sense to not get a second quote. I searched the forums and came across this shop. Nick (owner at top automotive) took great care of my car and went above and beyond expecations. i was so happy with his work that i asked him to do more work on the car than i sent it in for. I received car back last week and it has been running smooth as butter. I will definetly be paying the shipping cost in the future to get future work done on the porsche.Service: Transmission

I met Nick by pure chance (ebay ?) and the timing was perfect because I had tried a couple of shops including the dealer and wasn’t happy. Fast forward several years and Nick is not only the only one I will let touch my 08 911 TT but I also consider him a friend. I have had everything from oil changes (which he probably losses money on) to an engine out complete stage 3 build on E85 (700+whp). Nick treats your car just like he is working on his own and I would recommend Top Automotive to anybody with a foreighn exotic looking for a shop that will do quality work and take care of your car like its their own. In a world that focuses on money and quantity it is refreshing to find a shop that is more focused on quality and customer satisfaction.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Nick is a Porsche genius!! I have my Cayenne Turbo and my 911 Turbo serviced here. I also bring my Audi Q7. Most shops get a bad reputation from women but I have never felt "taken advantage". Nick treats me like family and is always very thorough with explaining what is wrong with my cars. He never makes me feel confused and really takes the time to explain things so that I understand. Very professional! Super clean shop! He loves what he does and it speaks through his work. Highly recommend Nick and he's crew!!

Top Automotive did a custom exhaust install on my Porsche since the aftermarket parts company thought it was no issue to tear up the electrical and vacuum line system. Nick did excellent work and I’ll be back for future oil changes, services, etc. He takes pride in his work on customer’s cars. I'm from NY and was looking at a Ferrari F430 located in NC. I reached out to three different place by the dealership to get a PPI. After speaking to the owner Nick at Top Automotive, I definitely knew he was the right shop to inspect my future car. He made the whole process extremely simple and very easy for me. He went the extra mile to help me out with the dealer, being that I was not able to be there in person. He went through the entire car from top to bottom, without leave any stone unturned. When I arrived in person, he broke down everything in full detail of what he found. This helped me to make a final decision on the purchase of the car, and also help me with my negotiations.After finally moving forward with the purchase, I made the decision to leave the car with Nick, to get all the work done that was recommended by him during the PPI. Again, he went above and beyond exceeding my expectations. He got the car done quicker than expected, and even took care of a few other things for me as a bonus. He is very well educated and a master in his craft. He is one of the most genuine and honest person I ever dealt with. I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a top quality mechanic, from your normal daily driven cars, to you're high-end prize possession exotics. I have never felt so comfortable having someone work on my car before. As someone who does not know much about cars Nick was patient in explaining what work needed and I never felt as if he was taking advantage of my lack of knowledge.
