“Huge Asian store! They offer a lot. Basic grocery stuff plus meats, fresh seafood, and a lot of exotic/tropical fruits. They also sell cookware and dining ware. Best part; they have a bakery and a dim sum restaurant inside. I haven't tried the dim sum yet but I want to. I do love their egg tart and the flan! I wish they were closer to me or open up a location on the west side of town. There's so little stuff around the west side.”

My visit to Compare Supermarkets made me Purrrrr. They have the best produce of any other supermarket around. Mounds of it, fresh, clean and great prices. “I found out about this store from a couple friends from Gastonia. I finally check it out this week. I really like this store. The prices are great and the service is good. Will be back again soon.Since I return to the store today, I notice they have many items I like but no price marked on many items. I have to update it to a four star rating due to my finding. “The store is a very clean and trendy downtown location. Has street level parking garage with an elevator to the store on 2nd floor. The sandwich and deli bar is placed perfectly on the right as you enter the store.I work across the street and stop in often for sandwiches, $5 Wednesday sushi and groceries after work.All the employees are very friendly and quick.”
“It is very convenient to have a neighborhood walmart. It has a fresh selection of vegetables, dairy sections, and a pet section. There are also self checkout lanes, so you don't have to wait in line for a casher to check out. The store also lets you order ahead, and your groceries are brought out to you at one of the designated pick-up parking spaces. Overall, shopping at the neighborhood walmart is a good experience.”

“I love an ALDI shop and this one was great. Clean parking lot, well stocked shelves, neat merchandise and a short-ish wait at the checkout. Yay!ALDI doesn't have everything but what they do have it good quality and the prices are excellent. I love their steaks and I've bought a good few pork roasts from ALDI that are cheaper than anything at Public or Harris-Teeter.Remember to bring your shopping bags and remember to bring a quarter to borrow the shopping cart and you'll have a positive experience.”
