Purchased a new vehicle in 2023. For obvious reasons I didn't say it was a cash deal. The salesperson was great if it wasn't for him I would have walked out. As soon as the finance manager mew it was cash he was rude, make sarcastic comments about where I lived. I had a 2 o'clock appt never saw him until 3:30. I wanted to make an appt for my first "free" oil change. My vehicle has over 9k, I couldn't take it in until it was ar 15%, if I did I would have to pay for it. Needed some clarification on the frequency of oil changes as I was told 5k especially for.the first one. I had sent an email. Get a call from someone who said what do you need I'm driving and can't see all your message. Asked a couple of questions which he didn't have the answer for, said he would call me back. No call back. I can only imagine what the service dept would be like. I have chosen to go elsewhere. The one rating is for dealership not the sales person.

I've had nothing but problems with them over the last year. You cannot get a straight answer. They simply can't be trusted.

this is specifically for the service team - and nothing against the quality - just horrible customer service regarding timing! i had a 9:15 apt and was told it would be an hour. at 11:15 I asked if they were almost done... NOPE! At least another hour! they gave me a car so I could run some of my errands, but a little too little a little too late! i let the service person know I was not happy and he tried to give me an analogy that making an apt at the car service is like making an apt with my doctor. The apt often runs over and they dont have control. I let him know, those apts make me angry as well! no discount, no apology - NOTHING! i got out of there @ 1:45pm! Absolutely unexceptable!

While it's still your money...1. Be aware of the dealership's pricing policy. If you pay with cash, certified check, or any method other than dealer financing, your vehicle will cost more. The price available with dealer financing is the ONLY price the salesperson will mention, even if he knows you plan to pay upfront & that price ISN'T AVAILABLE TO YOU.2. Even if you know your credit score and provide it to the dealer, you cannot get an estimate of your interest rate. The only way to get an estimate is to agree to a "hard pull," which will show up on your credit report whether or not you go forward with dealer financing.3. Verbal communication between you and any person at the dealership cannot and will not be verified. Ask for YOUR price in writing.4. Once you've signed the bill of sale, there is no recourse. When you regret your decision (and you will), the manager will let you know in no uncertain terms that you're S.O.L.5. "Doing your homework" involves more than checking the Carfax® report or getting information from Edmunds® or the Kelly Blue Book. Read the GREY PRINT on the website (underneath the information written in black & white). There is information in a much smaller, GREY font. This is the ONLY place you'll see the car's REAL cost to YOU. 6. This may not sound trivial at first, but stay as physically comfortable as possible. Do NOT sign anything while you're hot, tired, hungry, and possibly dehydrated. Spend as much time as possible INSIDE the dealership, looking at vehicles ONLINE with your salesperson.7. More importantly, be mentally and emotionally prepared to purchase a big-ticket item. NEVER SIGN ANYTHING on the same day you've received bad news. (In our case, my husband & I had just learned that our dog had lymphoma and would probably live only 2 - 4 weeks). 8. Do not disclose anything that makes you sound desperate. This marks you as an easy target & someone who's not likely to protest when you're asked to sign the bill of sale & see that your price is significantly higher than expected. 9. If you manage (after at least three days) to get the top manager on the phone, he will place you on hold & say he's going to talk with someone who was directly involved with your purchase. He will return a few minutes later and say you WERE told about your actual price verbally. He has just spoken with an employee he trusts. His employee couldn't possibly be lying, so YOU are the one who must be mistaken. Then (to rub your nose in it) he'll say that when you did see the price, "You could have just walked away." 10. Take that advice NOW -- BEFORE you part with your money. WALK AWAY! With so many other dealers (and private sellers) around, there is NO REASON to deal with Honda of Indian Trail. As a POTENTIAL buyer, you still have choices. Make the right choice while it's still YOUR money.

The purchasing part went smooth sailing our sales consultant Shun applied no pressure which we loved!! Since we purchased the vehicle on Saturday the title representative wasn't available. Maybe a week later mid January I receive a email requesting additional information. Two weeks later I was asked for my social with is the most important part of the process. But I didn't fret until it was mid March and I'd heard nothing since February. I called every number I had and even the front desk associate who would connect me to the same number I was calling. No answer No call back. Finally I received a email the next day stating the state that was issuing my paperwork needed me to update my address??! No I'm upset - when did this development happen. So now since the title clerk isn't able to get this done and communicate correctly I need the store manager to assist with this. I call the front desk associate explain a little of what's taking place tell me why the same lady I've been trying to call is who I'm connected to! When the associate answers the phone I immediately as is this Katie?? She says yes! I politely request i me transferred to the store manager. At this point I've been riding around with an unregistered car for 2 months and I wasn't given 30 plates ! The store manager Heidi immediately try's to figure up what's happening with this and says she will have the paperwork sent to her and she will overnight it to me. Well the ball got dropped again! I get a email from the Katie that I was originally dealing with at 6:52pm on Wednesday informing me that since Heidi was out it will not be handled the way we discussed it was sent to my out of state location!!! Needless to say I do not recommend this location if you're out of state because they are not being able to handle the paperwork correctly. We have purchased 2 cars for our kids in the heart of the pandemic and we didn't have this issue. When the DMVs were shut down! Rock hill Toyota University Volvo

Service after the sale has been very disappointing. I have called the dealership several times to find out why my trade has not been paid off and been given conflicting information on each call. The vehicle is still not paid off and now they are not answering my calls.

Always slow service. Waiting 90 minutes after my appointment time and they hadn't even pulled my car in to look at it. Why offer appointments when it means nothing?

Bait and switch! Let's advertise super low prices so that we can flip the story once they get here! Here's my story! Saw a car I liked on cars.com, gave them a call and made my way to the dealership after work. When I arrived, first thing I saw was the sticker on the window with this "platinum protection". Hmm what's that? For a low price of of roughly $2000.00, you will get the following! 1. Tint ($399- the car I was looking at didn't even have tint!!) 2. Nitro fill ($349) 3. Lojack 4. I couldn't even remember what it was because It was nonsense. If you do plan to purchase a car here, please expect to add $2000.00 to what you see online!

Gina and the team were very accommodating and quick to answer any concerns. Not sure about the rest of the reviews but I felt like I had a great experience here. They even washed my car after the job was done! They took care of my Honda without a doubt!

Stay away from this shady dealership. My wife took her Pilot in for an oil change. As always, they tried to upsell her on other services. She felt like it was because she was a woman and they were trying to take advantage of her. One of the services involving fluid was quoted as $249. She declined that and then left them a comment on the survey they sent. Within minutes of leaving the comment, someone from the dealership called her. Come to find out the $249 service included a 4 year warranty. If you didn't want the warranty, it was only $149. None of that was explained to her at the time, again because they were trying to take advantage of her. It's shady tactics like this that will no longer have us spending money at this dealership. Oh, and the oil change is now $80. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership/mechanic to spend your money at instead of these crooks.
