Wonderful lavender. Last minute thought on my part to have some lavender in the house for an event on improving your sleep. Sunshine Lavender Farm was the perfect solution. I ordered online and picked up the preserved lavender within the hour. By the time I got home my car smelled heavenly. The lavender is just lavender -- grown naturally, and just dried (like cured tobacco). After a month, my house still smells great.I can't wait to go back when the lavender is in season.

Perfect place for a relaxing day. The festival included barn quilt painting, good food if you didn’t picnic, and a pop up meadery. The lavender fields were smaller than expected but the aroma was still delightful.

Such a beautiful farm ran by very nice people. The Lavender Fest is so fun and they have a great variety of vendors and activities.

So disappointed. We have been to Provence and experienced lavender fields. This event doesn’t compare in anyway - a sparse plot with more landscape fabric and stone, than plants. If we missed something, please let me know.

Sunshine Lavender Farm is a treat to visit. The annual June event hosts tons of local makers and helps teach gardeners how to grow and tend to lavender. A great way to spend a Saturday.

Sunshine Lavender Farm is a small, family-owned business in Hurdle Mills, NC. My husband and I love the mission and authenticity of the farm and it’s products, which are locally made. Visit during June Bloom for a variety of fun crafts led by local artisans…and Honeygirl Mead!

We had such an amazing day at June Bloom! The event is well planned out with so many activities for all ages. The workshop crafts were such a treat and you get to pick your own fresh lavender right from the field to make them. We took a great yoga class, did a mead tasting, and watched the glass-blowing class! The tour was so informational and I learned so much about the lavender. Definitely will be coming back!

I Love going to the events here. The lavender aspect of it is definitely interesting, and I've learned a lot about planting it around my own house. We now have quite a few plants growing around our property, and it's really enhanced our landscaping. But, even more than the lavender aspect of the farm I just really enjoy visiting and hanging out for a while. We've thrown a blanket down on their lawn, had a picnic with some friends, and just hung out on this beautiful farm for several hours during their events. It's fantastic! I can't think of a more relaxing, peaceful way to spend a weekend day, and I really look forward to going to all their events. Also, The Baggett family (that owns the farm) are the nicest people ever. The whole family is always working the various stations/activities around the farm during the events, and you can just tell they love what they do and work so hard to put on a nice event. Thanks for doing this, you are all truly appreciated!!

The Sunshine Lavender Farm is a fantastic, family fun place to spend a day when they open it up to the public in the summer and winter. There are lots of activities from picking your own stalks of lavender, getting a tour of the farm, glass blowing, yoga, tasting the mead from Honeygirl Meadery as well as picking up any of the lavender infused items that are on sale on the farm. You can also buy your own plants to have lavender at home and get expert tips from one of the owners of the farm, Annie. I highly recommend going and come prepared to have a great time all around!
