Lao Mayer has been our service manager for many years. He always goes above and beyond to insure our customer experience in the service department is exceptional. I truly appreciate all he does to service our 4Runner and Highlander.

Recently, I had my Tacoma serviced at Toyota North. The service went extremely well and everything was completed in a timely fashion. Lao was my service manager. He kept me informed as things moved along. I plan on using Toyota North in the future and will use Lao as my service manager.

Lao is my customer service rep at the service department. He makes me want to come back, even though I don’t always agree with the suggestions from the service mechanics about what needs to be done to my car.Lao goes above and beyond to make my experience feel meaningful. I trust him, and his knowledge of how the CarPlay works and how other systems and features of my Toyota vehicles work. It can be confusing and a learning curve at first. He never misses an opportunity to help. I know he will be there for me if I need help.I recognize the service department is there to make money, and upsell every time I bring my car in, but it makes me not want to come back, because I don’t trust the mechanics suggestions, because they feel like they are generated from a place of try to raise revenue and profits by upselling unnecessary services.I have spoken to Lao about this, he is the consummate company man. He listens and accepts my concerns regarding upselling, but stays neutral.Honestly, it is because I like him so much that I keep coming back.I like your mechanics and other staff in the service department as well, but I think you would make more money over the life of my vehicle ownership if I didn’t think you were always overselling me. Once you lose my trust you can’t get it back. I am always wary of the suggestions of whatever is said.I wish it were not like this.I do love Toyota and their vehicles. I think there is room for improvement regarding this matter.

Toyota always been my go to place to have my car serviced for years. With my current car and previous car. My advisor LAO always keep me informed and help when possible with advice, price, whichever the case may be to make sure i'll leaving out a satisfied customer. I appreciate his hard work and the companies work they put in to make sure our vehicles run as they should. Keep up the good work ??

I purchased my Toyota from your dealership 11 years ago and have always taken it there for service then. EricOsen has always been there to help and advise me. Could not ask for better service or a better car! By the way or a prettier car Barcelona Red!

Lao is my go to guy when I need service on my 2021 Highlander. Very knowledgeable and makes recommendations when he sees a service need but always discusses it thoroughly with me and then allows me to make the decision how to best proceed. As always, when I went in for routine service yesterday, he had suggestions to make for me. He is always very gracious and friendly and yesterday was no exception. Every time I go in for service I leave satisfied knowing Lao has my best interests at heart.

Eric, the Service Manager, is outstanding. He is the reason why we only have our Toyotas serviced at North Charlotte Toyota. Eric is cordial, professional, positive and very knowledgeable about the services and vehicles. He also will give you a heads-up before things need attention, so you are prepared. LAO Mayer service representative, he is one of the best. It's a pleasure to work with him. He answers all questions and gives the best advice. I have been working with him for several years and will continue to have my Camry serviced there with him. He always does his job with pleasure. I recommend everyone to work with him. Worst dealership I have Ever been too and I've been to some Bad ones! To start with you can't access the lot or even get out of your vehicle without a salesperson being joined to your hip. Then while discussing my terms with the salesperson, a sales Manager aggressively approached me and engaged in a Very rude, disrespectful conversation with me in front of everyone including other customers. He basically told me pre-approval on a vehicle was useless at this dealership. Then asked me to disclose my credit score and income again out in front of everyone.. If you don't go along with their Steering you into their deal, this is what to expect! Remember it's Your Money so it's Your deal so it should go how YOU say it does! Everything about this dealership is Smoke and Mirrors! This dealership has a history of this kind of conduct so it has to be owner and management issues. Word of advice ANY dealership that doesn't post their prices Upfont on their website, keep looking! We online shop for Everything and a vehicle is no different. The days of tricks and high pressure sales tactics are OVER! I have shopped for my last 3 vehicles online and saved Thousands! I am going to also send this review to Toyota Corporation through their "Contact Us" link making them aware of how this dealership represents the Toyota brand and i encouurage everyone else to do the same. Obviously countless bad reviews and reports of this kind of conduct goes unnoticed so maybe they will have more luck getting change!..

I always have a positive experience with Toyota of North Charlotte which is why I lease my car with them. Lao at Toyota takes care of all my vehicles needs and is unbelievably professional and personable. Everything is always within my desired price range too! 10/10! ?

LAO was very helpful and professional in helping me get a new Truestart battery. He informed me of the remaining warranty on the old battery and also the cost of the new battery. I have been a customer of Toyota of N. Charlotte for several years and will continue to have my van serviced there.

Lao is the best! . He is professional and knowledgeable. I told him I was new to the area, he made me feel welcomed. I brought my Toyota Sienna in recently for an oil change he took his time to explain everything the van needed. I am very pleased I found my new mechanic!

Do not shop here - years later and they still act like it is peak 2020. Regardless of my experience, this location is still charging extreme dealer mark-ups while other dealerships have low or no mark-ups. I ended up getting my car from Toyota of Concord, exact same car and model, for a couple thousand dollars less. But the real reason I had a horrible experience is because they lied about the purchasing process and obviously didn't care enough about their customers. I ordered a vehicle through them and was told I would be notified at least a week in advance when the vehicle would arrive. When my estimated arrival date was drawing near they told me it would be late, but would call me the next week to give me an update and that the process would still be keeping me in the loop a week before my vehicle arrived. Well, over a week came and went and no calls. To add insult to injury, when I finally just worked through another dealership I get a random call telling me my vehicle was ready to pick up. No one week's notice like promised, no transparency, and obviously buying an almost 40K product wasn't enough to even care.
