My family and I absolutely love Primrose of Huntersville. We have been with Primrose for over five years now for all three of our children. We came from a Primrose in Cleveland and when we moved to Charlotte and learned there was one close to our house we were elated. The transition was seamless and our kids love it. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. The education is unmatched. I love that they have parent teacher conferences and you always know what your child is learning. My kids are well ahead of the curve. It’s a warm and loving environment which makes it even more special. I love that they have various playgrounds for all of the age groups, the food they serve is healthy and nutritious and their hours are just right. They also have an amazing summer program. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this school. I’d recommend it to all parents.

My daughter started Primrose in the spring, she’s a quiet and fairly shy kid with a slight speech delay so I was a little worried about how she’d adjust. The teachers have been very patient, kind and understanding. My daughter comes home learning something new everyday; I love that they have a very structured learning plan but set aside enough time for play and exploring!

My son goes to Primrose and we absolutely love our experience!! The teachers are all so kind and know my sons personality. Each day I get a great update on how his day went-photos and notes in the app, and an in person report. My son is exhausted at the end of the day because of all the play time!

We have experienced all grade levels at this school for both our girls. They are loving and really care about the students and families. Front desk staff is always happy to see you, admin will always take time out to answer any questions. The education element has prepared our daughter for kindergarten and having the food included has saved much needed extra minutes each work night. We love primrose of Huntersville it has suited our busy families needs.

We have been at Primrose Huntersville since 2021. Lisa, Jahnia and Ms. Rose are simply incredible. They work endlessly to hire the best teachers and treat them like the professionals they are. Primrose of Huntersville is more than a daycare center. It is truly a family. We are so thankful they came into our lives.

We have been bringing our children to Primrose for almost 5 years. Very enjoyable experience. We highly recommend Primrose and there staff! Honestly we could start naming all of the great staff and their close relationship with our children but the review would be too long.

Excellent daycare! Very well ran starting with the director and down to the teachers. Great daily activities, lots of after school events like snow cone day and parades. Highly recommend!

My child has attended Primrose School of Huntersville for the past 1.5 years. He has transitioned to two different classrooms, and we've had a wonderful experience! The teachers are top-notch, and he has learned so much. Communication has been great and I'm so happy with the quality of care we receive.

My daughter has been enrolled at Primrose School of Huntersville for three years, starting in the infant room, so she's in her fourth classroom now. Overall, it's been a positive experience, which is why we've chosen to continue enrolling each year. Like with any school - public or private, preschool and beyond - the experience is significantly shaped by the teachers and management. (And sometimes it's the dynamic between parents/teachers&staff and kid/teachers. IMO - not every kid's personality jives with the center care model. Those with unique developmental needs or those who thrive on independence may prefer Montessori, for instance.) We've liked the teachers - we run into former teachers in the hallway and always have warm interactions. The retention rate of teachers has been pretty strong, which is not typical in the childcare industry and, I believe, is indicative of a positive culture and work experience. The curriculum is well balanced - they do lots of very cool and engaging activities (STEM, artwork, gardening, music, etc), but also have plenty of free play and outdoor time. Mr/Ms Music comes regularly and the kids LOVE it - they dance and play instruments. The classes have pet fish. The school offers optional extra curriculars, so we've done cheer class and soccer. Periodically there are school and classroom events - of course these have shifted and evolved over time with COVID safety procedures, but there are opportunities to gather as a class or school. Chef Anne makes great food - well balanced menu and it's so wonderful not to have to pack lunch and snacks for a picky toddler eater! Overall, we feel like the school is well run and would definitely recommend.

We went into primrose with high hopes given their reputation but we left feeling disappointed, to say the least. In November, we picked our child up and she looked like this. Dirty face and a black eye so bad it was almost swollen shut. We had ZERO calls from the school to alert us and when my husband questioned the injury, suddenly no one could speak to it. Unfortunately this was the first of many awful events that happened while my child was enrolled at primrose. In February I went to pick her up, and after I got the teachers attentions from their phones, I realized quicker than they did that my daughter wasn’t with the rest of the class. That’s right, they LOST her. We ended up finding her inside with another teacher but the lack of communication and awareness was such an issue for us a family. Lastly, if security is at the top of your list, take primrose off because they have zero system to confirm parents to child. They’ve never asked for my id, and most days I was just carelessly handed my child, again without confirmation as to who I am, when we signed in or out or anything that should be implemented in a daycare. Please consider other facilities before going to primrose. Now that we are at another childcare facility, we see such a huge difference in the care and the lack of care there was at primrose. And I blame this all on the director Lisa, who always treated us like a number, never offered solutions to make us feel more at ease and basically treated it like “if you don’t like it, another family will”. Please approach with caution. We DREADED going every day.(Also, when teachers are leaving reviews themselves to up the rating, that should tell you something. - see Ashley Vasquez and Rose post below)

I’m very shocked at this 4.3 rating on Google. They definitely deserve a 1.5 smh

My son Liam attends PrimRose of Huntersville and is in the Young Toddler program or YT for short. He is 14 months old. WE absolutely LOVE his teachers Ms. Destiny and Ms. Megan. His motor skills along with his sensory and speech have grown to new levels with the detailed lessons that his teachers incorporate daily. We also love the administrative team Director Lisa Jenkins and Curriculum Director Jahnia Nicholas do an amazing job to make sure that the school is a safe learning environment.Thank you Lisa, Jahnia, and all the PrimRose Staff for loving and caring for my baby. Sadly, my family is moving and we will have to leave Primrose behind. The least I can to is leave a review to share what a great experience we have had. We have been with Primrose for a little less than two years. My older daughter has been in the infant through 2-year-old classes and my younger daughter is in the infant class. The most important part -- my girls love the teachers and staff. It is evident that the teachers there genuinely care for the children and enjoy what they do. My very cautious toddler loves seeing her teachers, talking to them, and giving them hugs. She happily walks into her classroom every morning and excitedly tells us about her day when we pick her up. I am always so amazed by the baby and toddler teachers - they are baby whisperers! They have endless energy, are somehow able to get a room full of toddlers to nap at the same time, and keep everyone happy and content. And they are good at it!My girls have learned so much! When my toddler was a baby, I remember telling my husband that I thought our daughter was using sign language because she kept waving her hands when I said "all done." We looked it up, and sure enough, she was signing. She learned tons of signs at school before she could talk. At one of her check-ups her pediatrician was impressed by how soon she knew her colors. One day she came home singing ABCs, which was something we hadn't even started trying to teach her ourselves. I really appreciate that Primrose has a well organized, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Of course the kids just think they are playing all day, but they are doing it so purposefully and learn so much in the process.Primrose is managed wonderfully. Hopefully Covid is mostly behind us at this point, but I was very pleased with how the struggles of Covid were managed. This is the only school I know of that found a way to allow parents to take their children to/from their class (via outside door) rather than being dropped at the front door. It was wonderful getting to take them there personally and see them playing at pick up in the evening. Also, Covid in the class room and quarantines were handled in a way that was completely fair to families, protective of students, and followed all state recommendations. Management does a wonderful job of communicating with parents, organizing fun events and activities, keeping the school clean, and maintain great staff with generally low turn-over. I toured a few different schools and there is really something to be said about the feeling of calm I get at Primrose, rather than chaos I felt from other schools. We will absolutely miss Primrose!

Can't say enough amazing things about this location! We have had nothing but the best experience here. We were extremely nervous to send our child to daycare and didn't want just any school. The staff made us feel so comfortable and our child has learned so many amazing skills. We love that we get updates throughout the day as that also gives us peace of mind. The staff are like family and we are so thankful for this experience!
