I paid a deposit on a car and made arrangements coming from out-of-state to pickup the car. After negotiating a deal and paying a deposit, they sold the vehicle out from under me. My dealings were with Chris Carnahan and Jason McLean. Very unethical and shady business practices.

Sold me a lemon used car. Bought a car with 4000 miles. Every third or fourth time I crank it EVERY WARNING LIGHT on the panel lights up. I have to restart 3 times to get lights to go out. Buyer beware at this dealership

This review is based on my communications via email with Jason Mclean. I was in the market to buy a new car and I like to do all of my communications via email. I reached out to Jason and he got back to me quickly with a solid OTD number for a new vehicle. His price was very competitive but unfortunately not the lowest I received so I went with another dealer instead. However, Jason was very responsive the whole time and was great to work with. I hope to work with him again in the future when I search for another new vehicle. Thanks Jason!!!

I have been a client for about 2 years now and since my car hasn't had real trouble I only come for the required inspections and checkups. I always forget just how slow and uncoordinated the staff is, but today was the last straw. I came in to get my tires rotated and it took them 2 hours. A 10 minute task at my scheduled appointment time taking 2 hours shows how unorganized this establishment is and after multiple instances of this occurring in the past, if you respect your time, do not come here.

I purchased a pre owned Range Rover from this dealership. The car fax and auto trader lead me to find this vehicle in Huntersville North Carolina. Miles was low and the Range Rover was in excellent condition. I drove 2 hours to test drive and buy this vehicle. Once I got to dealership it was an awful experience. The sales manager was rude Robert Sajdak. I had to walk out dealership. After leaving I received several phone calls to come back so that they can make things right. I did go back the next day and of course he never came near me. Now I'm revisiting the dealership to have my RR service and I have experience another incident. They leave my sunroof open during a thunderstorm. The service manager quickly shifts the blame on me!!! I never parked the car, they did. I left the car with the dealership. All the water has been vacuumed out but my car smells and I'm having electrical issue on the dashboard. I have called and left messages about what's happening and I haven't received any response from anyone. I would not recommend anyone to go to Keffer Mazda in Huntersville NC!!!!

Do not recommend. They had very little inventory and weren't interested in finding one either online or at another dealership to work a trade type thing to get me what I really wanted. While I ended up buying a last resort color new car from them, I was not impressed with their unwillingness to work on that issue first. The salesman I worked with was nice and did put forth a lot of effort to make a deal and once we agreed to a set payment, APR, and rebate/discount type numbers, the finance personnel failed to mention that those agreed details were no longer the actual deal that was being signed on. While the payment was within range, the APR was so far past what I had agreed to and wanted, it wasn't even funny. I would have absolutely walked away had they been sure to point this out and make me aware of what deal I was actually getting. This type of failure to be trustworthy and honest is the main reason for my 1 star do not recommend review. I value honesty about all else and if you aren't willing as a dealership to be honest about every step of the purchase, then you shouldn't be in business.

I don't even know where to start. I'm really impressed with the level professionalism and service I received from Keffer Hyundai. As a former car sales professional, I came in ready for a fight and expected one. That was not my experience at all. Joshua Miller, was an absolute class act. I don't if it was his approachable disposition or the Nawlins charm but it worked and it didn't take long for me to put my guard down. By the end, I was actually enjoying myself and that's never happened before. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a new or used vehicle. Don't walk, run here and ask for Joshua Miler. When your here, try the coffee machine. My special is a double shot of espresso with a hot chocolate mix. Enjoy!

I would give these slimy people zero stars if possible. Maybe not even stars, maybe a trash comet. We found a USED car online that was not a mazda, and called to inquire. We were told the price and that it was still available. We told them we'd be making a 3.5hr drive to look at it and they said they'd have it ready. After making the drive, we tested the car and all was well; Until we asked to purchase it. THEY TRIED TO PUT $3,100 OF EXTRA FEES INTO THE PRICE. None of that was mentioned online, unless you can interpret what a "*dealer fees may apply" means. Not including a $799 doc fee, you know because documents cost that much. And they tried to sell it as 'dealer installed services" that were already on the vehicle and couldn't be removed. It wasn't even a mazda bro, what could you possibly be adding? "THEFT PROTECTION" was part of the cost, funny because THE DEALERSHIP WAS BROKEN INTO 3 DAYS PRIOR AND HAD 5 CARS STOLEN! BRUH. How can you sell me theft protection when you cant even prevent theft on your own lot? Terrible experience, Will never come back.

Woooow....and I thought I was the only one with complaints about this dealership (KEFFER MAZDA HUNTERSVILLE). OMG....I should have done deeper research before wasting my time there. I had a MAJOR issue about their so called $3,000.00 for their package they claim to put on all cars prior to selling and to see others complain about the exact same thing, OMG, I am not the only one. They definitely don't tell you that in the very beginning and its not even optional and for them to day, this package is common at most dealership within a 500 mile radius......LIES LIES LIES. How do I know this you asked, simple, I visited 3 other dealership within the 500 mile radius of this dealership within 48 hours and NONE of them even had such mandatory package. They are very very misleading. And of course, the famous manager or supervisor named MEET, I would never ever recommend anyone to do business with him let alone the dealership. To be told by him, WELL YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY THE CAR, when I am making a point about their failure to disclose the $3000 fee and this is how I was treated. Whoever oversees this place, YOU NEED TO STOP TACKING ON A MANDATORY $3,000.00 FEE for some car protection. This should be an optional product. THANK GOD we did not purchase anything from this place. Going to someone else for the exact same vehicle with the exact same options, much lower mileages and better price with no hidden mandatory fees was the best decision made. Including superb staff and manager who went to bat for us and made us feel at home without pressuring us and overall professionalism!! MEET, I suggest you freshen up on your customer service tactics, professionalism and how you approach people. Just saying......you suck! THE CONTENTS ABOVE ARE TRUE AND CORRECT AND MY OPINION. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER....I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS FOR ANY CAR PURCHASE NEEDS. YOU WILL NOT GET DEAL HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

WARNING!!!! This is a bait and switch dealership!! Expect to pay at least $3,000 more (without taxes and other fees) than what their website actually prices the car at. I spent 2 hours looking at a couple of their CX-5s I saw online that were "in my price range" only to sit down and find out it was never in my budget in the first place. The woman proceeded to explain that their Keffer Mazda Package (that they put on all of their cars before selling) is what that $3,000 fee covers, however they don't want to tell you that until the very end. Their website and price listing is deceptive in order to make their cars look like a great deal but you don't get the real price they will be charging you for the car. I understand there are certain dealer fees and taxes that are not applied until you begin to actually purchase the car, but I feel that when there is one that changes the price that dramatically, it should be included on the listed price or at the least somewhere on the website so you don't have to waste your time.

Dealership is dishonest. We went in a Monday (11/28) to buy a car that we looked at on Saturday (11/26). Final paperwork was about to be signed when we were told that the car was sold on Monday morning. They said not to worry because they had the same option car. The car was not the same as it had different interior colors than the car we were there to buy. We looked on the lot and the car that we were there to buy was still on the lot with no sold sign. We had also just been given the same VIN number as the car that apparently sold to get an insurance quote. We walked away but the dealership kept our registration card for the car we were looking to trade in. When we went back for the registration, the same day, we were told the card had been shredded since it was personal information. However, all of our other information had not been shredded like copies of our drivers license. When the registration could not be located, the dealership printed out another form of registration that they claimed would serve as a legal document and registration. When the DMV was contacted, they said the dealership had no authority to print out personal registration documents. We went back a day later and the registration card had magically appeared with a foot print on it. The dealership still failed to contact us and let us know the card had been found. We were lied to multiple times during the whole process. Please do not go here if you are looking for honest and professional people.

Went in for a state safety /emissions check. Vehicle wouldn't start, so they said that they couldn't pass it for safety. I returned a week later, having sorted out the electrical problem. As I'd done a reset of the electrical system without having driven 100 miles, they said that they couldn't read the codes. Returned a week later, having driven more than 100 miles. I go in and ask for a free emissions test. Pull the van in and the man has a fit about road gear inside. I travel extensively for work and stay in motels out of state for weeks or months at a time. I have boxes of food, maps , atlases, books and other gear on the passenger seat, so I'm ready to hit the road for Texas, Georgia, Mississippi or wherever. He said that they wouldn't work on the van "You've been told before," he said. I responded that no one had said anything about the contents, not even him. They'd pulled the van into their shop twice before with the exact same gear loaded the same way.. I returned home, emptied the road gear and returned for my state inspections. They couldn't flunk the van for emissions, so, after about an hour, they claimed that one tire was worn and the brakes were shot - the rotors so warped and cracked from heat that they couldn't be turned. For about $950, they could rectify these things. Just as I did the last time - when they said that the van needed $2700 worth of repairs ( $250 repaired things at another shop), I went to another shop, Auto Inspections In/Out, and was passed in about 5 minutes. If you have an hour or two to spare, you can get a free state inspection there. Just ignore their fraudulent diagnoses. Unfortunately, -5 ratings can't be given.

Another bad rating for this dealership, but something tells me they don't care. My daughter gave a deposit on a specific vehicle, the receipt for which we have. We informed both the salesperson and the manager Antonio that we had to wait two weeks for all our credit improvement steps to reflect with the three credit bureaus. "No problem!" We were repeatedly told. We asked many questions before giving the hold deposit and told them we were going out of town the next day for a week. The manager told us to have a good time, he was going to Florida as well. That night I look at the receipt and I notice the miles on the receipt we were given that had the VIN number of the car on it did not match what I took a picture of after we test drove it. (Receipt said 2 miles, car said 36.) I text the salesperson to put the correct miles on the receipt. He makes the changes and sends us a corrected invoice and purchase agreement. Monday I get a call from manager Antonio, (4 days after we were in the dealership), wanting to know why we haven't bought the car yet. Huh? We are out of town for a week and we told you we were coming back with the rest of our down payment in two weeks. He gives me some nonsense about company policy but I point out that the purchase agreement has no timeline on it and we couldn't have been more clear about coming back in 2 weeks and repeatedly asked if the car would be held and they assured us it would be. Yesterday, salesperson Isaac texts me to tell me that a brand new red cx30 was being delivered and did we want to test drive. "No thanks, we will stick with the one we put a deposit on." Needless to say, they sold the car we put a deposit on and signed a purchase agreement for. BREACH OF CONTRACT. Seriously, this dealership needs staff that actually has integrity because from what I can see, there is none. Avoid.

Bought a new CX30 Premium from Keffer- one month later air bag light is flashing on and off. They told me it was a sensor and needed to be replaced- it was a manufacturer issue and sensor is on back order. Placed me in a CX5 loaner- after 3 weeks was stopped by police for an expired tag ( I didn't notice tag expiration). Placed me in CX3 base model- after one week returned vehicle because it does not have lumbar support and driving it causes my back to hurt. Clerk told me all loaners are base models without lumbar support- told her first loaner did have this feature. She gives me the deer in headlights look. I told her I didn't buy a base model vehicle- expected to drive a comparable vehicle. Manager told me a vehicle would be available in 2 days-contacted after one day and told loaner not available. At this point Keffer is refusing to change out loaner. Let's talk about needed sensor for my vehicle- 7 weeks later and my vehicle is still unsafe to drive and only answer I receive is shrugging shoulders and blank looks.
