After waiting in line behind 3 cars for a donation drop off, the attendant came out and yelled to everyone - "Go to the trailer". So, the 4 cars behind us all backed up and went to the trailer. We decided to leave and not make our donation as we were now last in line. The correct way to handle this would have been to go to the last car and ask them to stay put, then they follow the existing line to the trailer. This was handled very unprofessional.

Went last Saturday to donate some really nice items I had leftover from a yard sale that morning. Got there and they said they would take everything. After unloading about half of the items I was told they wouldn’t take any more because they were running out of room but they would take the couch (it was very nice) but refused anything else. Of course no one was helping me unload they all wanted to stand and give orders. Young man said they couldn’t take any more because they had run out of room but didn’t turn anyone behind me away. I left and watched as they took items from other people. I’ll never ever donate to them again. And they claim to want to help others. Sure proved that wrong

This Goodwill wants to pick and choose as to what of your donations they are willing to accept. Once they get what they want, they refuse to take anything else. I made a comment that Goodwill has historically always taken everything and thrown away what they didn’t want, as that’s the whole principal behind their system. Their manager agreed, but still refused to take anything other than high value items. Had absolutely nothing to do with quality, safety or anything other than them being busy. They took a like new couch straight to the showroom, then refused all other donations like bags of clothing without even looking.

Greatest Goodwill I have ever been to! Clean atmosphere - Fair and reasonable prices. Jennifer, the manager, is INCREDIBLE and will help you out with whatever you need. Also, Jay is another wonderful worker. This is the only Goodwill I would ever recommend.

small, crowded, too much construction going on but good finds saw someone had a tote container for $2 but the lid was crack open. Just like other good will but I would rather shop at the west charlotte location. They have good stuff new for cheap. but the cashiers could be better and less wait.

This is a good store. I find a lot of treasures here. Staff is sometimes nice and friendly. I prefer the staff at Cornelius. But I love the clothes here. I get so many new items. Parking is a little cramped, so I suggest parking by the donations door. Thank you goodwill for what you do for our community.

This goodwill keeps a good array of products and is often possible to find more upscale itemsOn the negative side, this store is the most cramped goodwill I have been in. Most aisles slow only one cart requiring one person to back up. Additionally, the donation center is in the back lot at a semi trailer, not under the pull through canopy.... Confusing and inconvenient parking as a result. This store does have a 25% senior discount on Tuesday. While a good deal for seniors, this makes it an exceptionally crowded day to shop.

Another great visit to a Goodwill store. This was my first visit to shop at this location. I was surprised when we arrived late in the afternoon. The parking lot was full and folks were dropping off more items. Some houseware shelves were empty, but that was to be expected. I brought the grand to the shop, and she found many items. She was pretty excited. This made me happy to see her happy with her newly found items. Perhaps on our next visit, we will plan to arrive much earlier to see what's available. Like me, I hope others can visualize the items they donate to Goodwill. It helps you recognize the worth, the condition, and the purpose in filling the needs of others.
