This place is AWESOME !!!! I hit a deer about two weeks ago. I had a few issues finding a place that could even take my vehicle because of the make and it was not drivable. I searched and found Gerber Collision they were a select service center in network with my insurance company. The claim process was smooth. I had my windshield and part of my roof fixed. Got my car back today it looks GREAT. Amanda and the entire team were great with every part communication, their efforts and timeliness. I don’t want to have to come back here but if I need collision work done Gerber will be my first choice !

I did not have any service done to my vehicle. But I would give 0 stars for customer service. I was rear ended and this was a preferred collision shop from the insurance company so I made an estimate appointment. I spoke with a wonderful lady from Statefarm who sympathized with my situation after telling her I did not feel safe driving my vehicle with the damages it had she told me after my estimate appointment they were going to give me a rental and set up for me to pick it up from Enterprise after my estimate to have until my car was fixed. I immediately got a call from Enterprise, and they confirmed the pickup day and time with me. The day of my estimate appointment Enterprise called Gerber Collision & Glass of Huntersville to confirm my appointment. The women at Gerber decided herself that I did not need a rental and canceled it...she had no right in doing so as she did not speak with Statefarm and did not know what the situation was or what they had set up for me. When I got to Gerber for the appointment the women at the front told me "You will not be getting a rental today. Enterprise called us to confirm and I told them the rental was not needed." I'm not sure why she thought that was up to her! I was very upset! But I moved on with the appointment as I just wanted my vehicle fixed asap. They gave the estimate paperwork and appointment for the repair a little over a week later. Fine, I understand there's a wait for appointments. After their estimate report was submitted to Statefarm, Statefarm would no longer give me a rental until I dropped the car off over a week later. So, I 'm stuck driving an unsafe vehicle because Gerber decided I didn't need a rental...NOT THE INSURANCE COMPANY. Here I am the week of dropping my car off for the actual repairs....I call Gerber to confirm my appointment and asked what time I should drop the vehicle off. The women told me your appointment was cancelled the day you came in for the estimate...I said what??? She said Statefarm didn't tell you?...I said Nope, are you sure Statefarm cancelled it and not you guys just like you canceled my rental? She then laughed at me...very professional. I have heard nothing from Statefarm about my appointment being cancelled. When I called Statefarm to see if/why my appointment was canceled with Gerber Collision they had no idea what I was talking about and called Gerber themselves to see what was going on. . Statefarm said they called twice one they sent to voicemail and the other left them on hold for a long time, so they were unable to get any communication with them. I can gather that they took it upon themselves like they did with my rental to cancel my repairs as well. Happily taking my car else where! So long story short do not do business with Gerber Collision & Glass as they are extremely rude, and they will NOT HELP you just end up screwing you over big time.

They patched a broken rear piece I backed into a mail box. They were super nice an did a great job. What a nice experience they fixed it with no charge. Looks great an I’m really grateful. The hours on business recording say they are open Saturday until noon. Drove over 30 minutes to location and they are closed. don’t understand why they wouldn’t update their voicemail recording to avoid customer inconvenience like this.

Amanda was extremely friendly and kept me updated on the entire process. She would call me every single week and would always answer any questions we had. Our truck looked brand new when we got it back, it was like the accident never happened. I highly recommend this repair place. They were also the only people that right away just told me to bring my truck in for repairs. Everywhere else wanted an appointment to access damage, do an estimate, and then see when we could bring it in for the actual work. Everything went smoothly. They spoke with the insurance directly about our rental car and got everything set up for us. Hopefully I never do, but if I need repairs again I will be going here.Service: Body & Trim

We had a 6 week wait until our car could be repaired, which unfortunately is typical these days. Once the car was in Gerber’s hands, the work went quickly, and despite finding hidden damage - not included in the insurance adjuster’s estimate that doubled the cost - the repairs only took two days longer than originally estimated. We were kept informed every step of the way. An added bonus is their partnership with Enterprise, who brought our rental to the shop and picked it up when we were finished.
