I just went to Mexico and back. These tacos were the most authentic tacos I have had in Charlotte. Will be back soon.

No coffee in the middle of the day. Gas prices higher than anyone else in the area.

When we're in the mood for home cooking (wife is Mexican) we're stopping by the Taco Truck! From the homemade consome, to the authentic sope recipe, it is great food for a reasonable price. Heads up, it's cash only!

Everyone around here know that this is the best taco truck in NC! Order ahead at lunch time. That's because everyone goes here and the lines are so long then. Legit food!

Excellent. Fast. Better than any chain burrito joints in the area. The fat burrito is HUGE!!!

Sadly not the Arturo taco truck that occupied that space. Yes the same red truck but clearly not the same well loved food that was served from it. Arturo was the heart and fed his clients with flavors that would bring me back to authentic Mexican food I loved when I lived in LA. If anyone knows where Arturo relocated to, give a shout out!

I stumbled into Taco Truck when I stopped at the BP in Huntersville. It's an unassuming spot parked in the front corner of the BP parking lot. This is your typical no-frills taco food truck. You can order tacos, burritos, tortes, and they even had a soup. With your order, you get to pick your meat. They have a pretty wide variety including barbacoa, asada, carnitas, and more. The food itself is very tasty but a little greasy. Overall, the food tastes authentic and flavorful. I tried the more premium burrito, and it was fairly large. This is definitely a burrito you have to eat with a fork and knife! Prices are decent. It's about $8-$11 depending on what you order. A very important heads up: the Taco Truck only takes cash, so if you only have a credit card you're out of luck.

Authentic, delicious, fast tacos. They don't have drinks and only take cash. But it's in the parking lot of a PB.

I had to change my review from 4 to 5 stars because this place has quickly become a house favorite. I STRONGLY suggest the steak quesadilla. It is cheesy and packed with meat! Truly one of the best quesadillas ever and it's only $9. The tacos are PERFECTION! If you are looking for authentic tacos, this is the place. My personal favorite are the steak and carnitas. Btw the carnitas are crispy and delicious, just how they are supposed to be! (a lot of places serve soggy carnitas and I hate it lol) Anyway... green salsa. Don't forget the green salsa!

This truck has a following and I now know why . It was Muy Bueno Mi Amigo !!! The parking lot carried the delicious aroma of the food they sell and my nose would not let me pass on this one ! The menu was simple and the prices were very reasonable ! Four tacos for $10.00. I chose the barbacoa with corn tortillas and the hubs had the chicken with corn tortillas, Warning the sauces will light you up ! Too strong for this palate but I am sure they're good if hot sauce is your thing. Delicious food served hot with all the right packaging! This will definitely be on my radar next time we're in the Huntersville hood ! Two thumbs way up !!!
