Look no further… these are the trainers you want AND need!We adopted a sweet 6 month old rescue last summer and knew we wanted to receive training. After extensive research on different trainers and styles in the area, it sounded like BarkBusters would be a good fit. From the first session, we saw an immediate change in Foxie’s behavior. John and Diane taught us how to communicate with her and she was immediately responsive. Here we are not even 6 months later and Foxie does not run out the front door when guests arrive, she no longer jumps up to greet people, she does not bark at other dogs or people on our walks, and she sits and waits for her food, treats, and toys! We officially have the perfect pup and it’s all thanks to John and Diane teaching us how to communicate with Foxie.

Bark Busters is worth every last penny!!! John and Diane could not have been more lovely to work with! After our first session at our home, we can already see such a difference and a calmness/relaxation in our dog because we were taught how to speak her language so effectively. John and Diane came so prepared for our first training session, had a lovely presentation put together to start, and are just so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the work they’re doing. They really are dog whisperers! We can’t wait for our second follow up session in a few weeks, but the tools and drills that we have already been taught have made SUCH a difference in just that first 3 hour training session!

If you are ready to leave your house, your family, and your animals behind to start a new life without them, call Diane and John! If you have dogs of any age, any breed, any size, and they're making you crazy - call Diane and John! My initial hesitation was the price (which is actually less than some of the others in town), but after our 1st session I knew this would be worth every penny and then some! Thank you both for teaching us how to understand our dogs better, how to properly correct unwanted behavior, and creating a much more peaceful existence for all of us! We just finished our second session with our 1.5 yr old Boxer and 5 month old pit mix and we've already seen a night and day difference. We cannot thank you both enough! Their services are worth every single penny!

I absolutely love our experiences with Diane and John. Our entire family is excited when they come, puppy included. Diane and John have made such a difference. Even after the first visit, we noticed remarkable improvements in our pup as well as our expectations for her. I am grateful for the training I am receiving as a pet owner, and its helping our family immensely. Diane and John are so responsive, kind, wise, and patient. Incredibly patient. I really appreciate their attention to detail, their love of fur babies and people alike, and am so grateful for our continuing relationship. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know! And I have :) If you have any reservations concerning this program, don't hesitate to call and chat. The office staff was remarkable and reassuring. What more is to be said? John and Diane are great! They took the time to explain the reasoning behind many of our dog's behaviors that we were wanting to address. We weren't sure what to expect as this is our first dog, but we saw a huge difference after just the first meeting. We are very happy with the knowledge that we have been given so far, and we look forward to learning more! Highly Recommend!

Diane and John are THE dog whisperers! We were worried we would give up on our 1 year old Lab, Bo. We decided training would be our last resort. I looked up reviews and saw they had the best reviews so I chose them. From their first visit we have a brand new dog. We thought he would maybe too old and set in his misbehaviors to train or at the very least, take a very long time. I cannot believe the difference in Bo and also how they taught us to understand him. It's remarkable. If you are hunting for a trainer, make sure you call them! They are always available for when I need a recommendation and they are in constant contact with me on Bo's progress. They are miracle workers! Thanks Diane and John!

John and Diane the dynamic duo! They have not only worked with Hogan, they worked with me. They taught me about his behaviors and reactions in different environments and the proper corrections; they gave me the confidence I was missing. I would highly recommend them for any training needs you have.

Diane and John are miracle workers! We have 2 goldens and they are quite the handful at times. Diane and John have taught us so much about dog behavior that helps you understand why dogs do things certain ways so that you can correct their behavior. They teach you corrections that are effective and beyond helpful. I love that they come to your home so that they can see your dog in their own environment. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

We had issues with our Dachshund rescue. He was resource guarding me against my husband. Also lots of barking and would not let others pet him. After ONE visit with Diane and John he is a different dog. They were able to show us how to correct his unwanted behaviors. He is now a happy more relaxed dog! We are thrilled with his progress!

After rescuing a dog from the Cornelius shelter, my husband and I knew we would need some help with his behaviors and Diane and John came highly recommended. I never realized that we also needed training. Diane and John were amazing. They taught us how to work with our boy, Zeke with no treats or any harsh methods and we were so impressed. Just after 2 months we have a well-behaved and super happy dog. Also, they are there if you need them. I look forward to continuing our journey with them to make Zeke the best that he can be.

Diane and John have done a phenomenal job training my dog Duek. I was dealing with separation anxiety, aggression, jumping and front door, barking, and charging. They offer him a lifetime of the dog service guarantee and use only humane methods which is why I love them. I recommend them to anybody looking for a dog trainer behavioral specialist in the Charlotte area. Very impressed.

Our trainers (Diane and John) were amazing and so understanding with both of our dogs and with us as well! They took the time to explain every bit of the reason behind the training techniques and the behaviors of dogs in general to help us understand how to communicate with our dogs.One of the dogs was very timid during the first meeting and they took things slower with her and never tried to push her too far. Every session was tailored to address the specific issues we cited in our initial call to Bark Busters and every technique they taught us started showing noticeable changes sometimes as quickly as one day after practicing it with the dogs.None of the training involved anything pain or treat related (no shock collar, treat training, etc) which we appreciated too! They just teach you how to communicate with your dog so that they understand what you want from them.Diane and John are absolutely amazing and thoughtful individuals and I would recommend them and Bark Busters to anyone!

John and Diane are AMAZING! We were actually considering rehoming our puppy as he had some really tough behaviors that we couldn’t overcome. After two sessions with John and Diane we saw a complete 180 from him. He is part of our family now and couldn’t imagine not having him in our lives. If you have any issues with your dog whatsoever, John and Diane have you covered, they are the best!
