She guaranteed that both the vendor and employee responsible were retrained on internal processes, so that’s good enough for me. I just don’t want it to happen to someone else. We all make mistakes, but it’s how we do better and learn from them that’s most important!I was having a desk held for me here by Rachel D with Booth #23. I planned to be there to pick-up the desk around 1pm. The desk had a note with my name on it, and the vendor managed to sell it right out from under me while I was in the store coming to pick it up. I drove all the way from Holly Springs for NOTHING. That is not how you run a business. No asking the other buyer what their name was or letting them know it was on hold.”

“I love everything about Dorcas Thrift Shop. It's nice that they have an organized system for dropping off donations at the back of the store.
The prices for shopping are reasonably priced compared to other thrift shops and I like that they support their local community.”
“This store is led by a very kind women who’s goal is to support her community and the people in need around her. While we were looking around the store she showed us kindness and support as well as letting us know why she started her business. She focuses on supporting her local foster care system by letting families shop here with discounts and taking time out of her day to watch local children. You can shop here knowing everything is constantly going to a good cause and making you’re community better!”

It was such a great deal we decided to buy more itms that she also gave us a great deal on. Don't let the outside of the place fool you. This place is a must stop for deal shoppers.”
“We had fun exploring this place although we didn’t get anything. The prices in general seemed pretty good. They have a lot of household stuff for cheap that you can buy and modify if you’re handy with tools.”
“This location was amazing. I had a TON of items to sell and Lauren and her team were so accommodating. I called in advance because I was bringing 8 bins of items to sell. Of all the locations near me, this was the only location that allowed me to sell more than one bin of clothes at a time.
When I arrived, it was all hands on deck to sort my items. The staff was very efficient. They bought probably half of what I brought to sell.
They pay a little on the lower end compared to other consignment stores I’ve sold at but still pretty fair for the convenience of getting a lot of items off my hands and making an extra buck with minimal effort. Plus they are a franchise so I know the pricing isn’t set by the store. I was paid just under $1/item average which was fine because I was looking for a quick and easy way to pare down on my baby items.
I also had time to shop around while I was waiting. This store is one of the largest, most well organized, most well stocked that I’ve been in. I got a great deal on some books and found some tennis shoes from their huge shoe selection. I live over an hour from this location but will definitely be back to shop, and probably sell, again.
Thanks again to Lauren and the whole team for their help.”
“Great, great store. Super clean, affordable and more than reasonable prices, good furniturec great staff - they played the Barbie movie for my 4yo while me and my husband wandered around the store. Deffinitley worth a check everytime you're around. I'll soon be back for sure”

Picked up a blow mold Halloween light today. Excited to add it to my menagerie of Vintage Halloween.Crystal was kind and very nice during my checkout.”
“This is a nice store. They are always organized and always polite. All items may not be as cheap as you want because they are sending the money they make to help abuse survivors, and I'd definitely pay more for that cause. In addition, most of the items have been researched before pricing and are reasonable, and they almost always have some sort of sale going on (it's posted on the door). Sometimes they have free items outside, and I took a futon home with the help of one of the workers who let me borrow moving straps AND secured it to the car for me. This is a great place and I will follow them when the store relocates very soon.”
“What a treasure to find! I had a nasty cold, but saw something on the FB page that I needed. I contacted the owner and she was easy to work with. I felt like she went above and beyond to help. I will definitely be shopping there again!”

900 E Chatham St, Cary“It’s hard to find a nice, well organized thrift store, and Thrift2Gift earns the honor. I’ve found a few real gems in this store, and it’s all well priced for those on a budget. I love visiting this store.”
“The reviews are right about the poor attitudes from the employees. I’ve had interactions that left me confused as to why they lack basic manners. However, it’s a clean, organized and reasonably priced store. Lots of great brands in good condition.”
“Have gone here since I was a kid with my mom and now as a mom myself! Never had a bad experience here! The costumer service has always been so welcoming and kind! Love it!”
“This is one of my absolute favorite places! Great finds! I have bought dressers, wall pictures , books, art, kitchen items, a guitar, a wonderful usual clock. Love to shop there and take my time! Very helpful, kind friendly staff. I love their weekly updates on Facebook. They have items listed with picture and price.”
“I don’t understand the negative reviews. As a military spouse, I have lived in many places and shopped in MANY thrift stores. I consider Guardian Angel to be the Cadillac of thrift stores…a veritable Disneyland to us thrift store “junkies”. I have to really rein myself in when I’m there. They have a huge inventory and everything is organized and well displayed. The framed artwork is not all dinged and beat up like you see at many thrift stores where they have them crammed into bins. The aisles are wide and you can move around easily. The staff are busy stocking the shelves and the cashier couldn’t have been sweeter. She gave me a military discount! The quality of their merchandise is much better than any of the thrift stores in Durham where I live now or Wake Forest and it is worth the hour drive to shop at Guardian Angel.”
“Love this place! It's my go-to shop for lovely treasures, like this beautiful handmade sleeping pad donated by someone who frequently contributes their own handcrafted items. It's also my first choice for donating in the area knowing it will help the kitties.”
“This is an alright thrift store but the selection is pretty limited and things can be pricy. Unfortunately they don't have much in terms of clothing, but they did have a good selection of jewelry which was also fairly priced. They were also really friendly here!”

“Jennifer is such a sweetheart and super helpful. She’s also EXTREMELY polite which unfortunately, not something you see in today’s world. Thank you, Jennifer for being so helpful! Signed, the lady who bought a ton of sweaters, a dress, a shirt, and some dinnerware. ❤️”
“Never a dull moment at the Goodwill. Some excitement came when a shouting match ensued between a 26 year old employee (she yelled it) and a customer who had finished checking out. The excitement continued on in the parking lot for some time. I hope they settled their disagreement about someone's momma and let bygones be bygones.”
