THE PRICE ISN'T RIGHT! I absolutely had the most awkward and negative encounter with this business. I cannot recommend anyone take their pet. They will definitely try to milk you. Never in my life have I heard of paying $90 for a simple wash and groom of a small bred low cut well kept (non matted) dog. The owner was unprofessional and wanted to debate over a $10 up charge for (her specialty shampoo) which I specifically said I didn't want prior to the appt. I was prepared for an extra express charge $25 and asked them not to add that on. She was so adamant that she was right and I was wrong that she pulled up a conversation of herself on the phone which she recorded of me against my knowledge. I guess she uses this type of strategy on customers. They had no proof, no sign order and she admitted to that but pressed issue of a $10 . I have to say beware!! No one needs to be reminded that the business is always right even when they are not..especially when it comes to your fur babies. This wasn't the first time the service was less than satisfactory. The last time my dog's nails were not clipped. They deserve NO STARS! NEVER AGAIN!

When I was first told the charges for the grooming with premium products, I thought it was expensive Clearly you get what you pay for. The dogs have never looked better. They were obviously well taken care of and every service we requested from head to toe (teeth, nails, glands) were done to perfection. I cannot recommend this place enough.

One star because I can't speak on their work. I can only share what happened. I made an appointment with no issues, and I had a very friendly staff to speak with. The appointment day came, and at 7 am, I'm told they have to cancel my appointment due to the groomer having a medical emergency. Totally understandable, and I hope they are okay!!!! In their voice-mail, they state they will call back to reschedule. It's been almost a month and I haven't gotten a call. Again I know things happen and I really hope the groomer is okay thar we were scheduled with. But maybe call people back, even if you can't accommodate them, just to let them know.

Our dog always seems to like coming so I think that says a lot! She loves the treat jar in the lobby, too. We've been coming since they opened.

Dog was definitely having a bad hair day. Hot dogs worked him on the schedule and were great. Know how to do difficult cases with a great attitude. He loves them.

I looked at a bunch of reviews before choosing a new groomer after moving so it wasn’t a surprise that Hot Dogs did a great job. There isn’t a ton to say beyond that I trust them to care for my dog when I’m not there.

We love sending our dogs to get haircuts their. They always do a great job. The staff seem to genuinely care about dogs. They also have a variety of options for your dogs style, which is pretty cool.

Getting my dog groomed was the best Christmas gift. He’s so soft and smells so lovely best of all he’s not itching. I highly recommend the oatmeal bath. I really appreciate the care they take of my elderly pup.

Always overbooked and understaffed. Our dog was there for 8 hours, most of it in a kennel, is unacceptable. All leads to stressed dogs and subpar work. They also never express the dogs. Turnover in staff exacerbates the problem. If you can't execute the appointment then cancel it - not hold dogs all day. Customers time is also valuable, we shouldn't have to wait till 6PM past closing to pick up the dog. Poor planning on their part should not impact everyone else. We will not be going back. Staff seems ambivalent to the problem. Stay away.

We just got our dogs back from their first grooming appointment and are so happy to have found a great place for them. One of our pups has high anxiety and is very difficult to groom. The staff was so understanding, and not even phased by it - they were even able to brush his teeth. Highly recommend whether your dogs need special consideration or not.

Excellent experience. Pretty particular with our Goldens. Up to 5 now. Asked for a more medium cut and Madison delivered! Plenty of feathers left.

The first time I brought my 16lb Shih-Tzu/poodle in to get groomed, they did a good job. I brought him in for the second time on 8/18/2022 and this time it was awful. It's ridiculous to drop off a small dog for a 2pm appointment and 4 hours later you have to call to check on the status of your dog because they haven't even started grooming him yet. Two people dropped their large, fluffy dogs off after I dropped off mine and yet my dog was the only one that was still not groomed by 6pm (they close at 5:30). Do not bring your dog to Hot Dogs Grooming unless you want to leave frustrated and irritated with lies about their care! They will leave your dog in a filthy crate for hours. My dog smelled worse after I picked him up then he did when I dropped him off. I am so hurt thinking about the anxiety and stress my dog went through. I was told he didn't enjoy his groom and the receptionist said he needs to be put on Trazadone medication before getting groomed by anyone else. When in actually, he didn't enjoy being put into a filthy crate for 4 plus hours. Needless to say, when I picked him up, he looked and smelled awful! I took him to another groomer on 8/20/2022 (Saturday) and she had no problem completely grooming him.I have no reason to lie! However, I unfortunately believed your blatant lies about the care of my dog until I realized his anal glands were swollen because you didn't express them. Also, he smelled awful because you didn't give him a bath. In addition my appointment was at 2:00pm. But, two ladies came in after me to drop off their dogs and it was after 2:30pm when I left because you asked me to wait and speak to the groomer. Speaking with a professional groomer who actually cares about the dogs she grooms, I now know it should never take 4 or 5 hours to groom a dog. That's stressful for any animal!!

Is there a rating below one star? That's what I would give it!My sweet 8 pound dog was cut and bleeding due to "grooming". On the way home, I also noticed she had not had a bath and was crusty on her face and whiskers. Not recommend.
