I went in asking specifically for a serpentine belt replacement for squeaking during morning hours. The Nissan dealership had already identified this issue due to the age of my car. A full inspection was completed by 55 autoworks. They noticed water pooling under my passenger side weather tech floor mat. They determined that the AC blower motor was the cause of the squeaking and not the belt. I agreed to have the motor replaced instead of the belt, along with smaller items such as wiper blades etc. Motor was replaced. No diagnostics were performed to identify the leak. Upon pick up, the car still squeaked. Water was still inside the cabin and wasn’t vacuumed out. Owner/manager offered his leak specialist for an additional 600+. My original problem remained and nothing was done to compensate for their mistake of ignoring “both” squeaks even after reasoning for several days. Who actually knows if the blower motor was squeaking. I highly doubt it. All I was told was they inserted a camera and recommended replacement due to the water noticed inside the cabin.
The leak was the sunroof drain that was clogged. My husband and I cleared it out ourselves after this was recommended by a family member who is a mechanic. Leak solved. Squeaking no.
I would steer clear of this business. They did everything what the they could to find something wrong. Yes-my vehicle is older. We are trying to hold onto it for our teenage daughter who is in drivers education. 600+ dollars down the drain for a blower motor that was probably functional.

For my second time at 55 auto, I can say that I am pleased overall. This time was a routine oil change- they helped me coordinate with fidelity to claim warranty money, which was appreciated. Their inspection uncovered low tire treads and an unbalanced 4th tire. Given two options, I selected the cheaper option of tire replacement (all 4). The ride on my BMW was noisy and “off” before these upgrades, but I can gladly say the ride is super smooth now. No, you’re not going to pay less than $1000 for all these improvements anywhere, so gear up to open your pockets, but trust that the work being done is high quality. Returning customer…

My family has taken person vehicles to 55 Auto since moving to Holly Springs in 2021. Honest and thorough every time.
I recently inquired about a/c repair on a work (box) truck and the folks at 55 Auto quickly diagnosed the issue. After test driving they discovered a MAJOR brake issue on the vehicle making it unsafe to drive. The brake repair was done quickly and the truck will be out on the road in time for work on Monday!

Our go to auto repair shop for any car issues. They do a great job, and do it at a reasonable price! Everyone we've interacted with is personable and knows what they're doing. It's also super convenient to be able to text the problems and schedule drop off and pick up. I recommend them highly to anyone in the Holly Springs area.

I can’t say enough about the experiences I’ve had with 55 Auto. We’ve been bringing our cars here for 9+ years and Derek and his team are trustworthy and provide excellent service.
We’ve seen the 55 Auto team grow, and recently we brought my daughter’s car in for repair work. Rob did a fantastic job of being communicative and providing priorities for repair to her car.
Great people and great service all around.

I initially was told of this place from someone on the nextdoor app. It was the 1st place that actually got back to me since they provided a phone number to text.
Went in for labor on installing new brakes on my 2017 Rav4 (bought the parts at Advance Auto), and just doing that was $400 cheaper than the dealership. I was initially going to get new tires and install with NTB the next day since it's walking distance from me, and to their credit, 55 Auto Works was about $80 cheaper since NTB's quote didn't include taxes and fees.
So all in all I saved at least $480 total (not including whatever I saved for buying parts), and great service. Outside of regular oil and filter changes I can do down the street, I'll go to these guys again the next time I need extensive work.

I won’t take my Jeep anywhere else from now on. I got a quote from another repair shop for $7000. Took it here and I got an oil change, they fixed my check engine light (which was something else), and repaired what the other place quoted me a lot of money for, all for $2,700 and it was done super fast!! I can always get in the same day and they will only do what needs to be done. Super honest, reliable, and affordable!
