Got a “high” estimate of $900 for teeth cleaning. Was told that the price would go up if extractions were necessary. Well, it went up all right, to $1900. I’ve been going to them for 20 years and watched as their prices went up and up every year. I kept saying to my wife that we ought to shop for another vet. I’m finally going to do that.

I have great admiration and respect for Dr. Tara Kipp at Piedmont Veterinary Clinic. She always goes above and beyond for my dogs, and for me, for which I am eternally grateful! At times when diagnostics are required beyond the means of the clinic, she always has great suggestions on what to do, where to go, who to see. She has been beside me with great understanding when I said good-bye to one of my beloved hounds and made those last moments together as special as could be. Her staff members are always kind and courteous. I think of Piedmont as the absolute best primary care veterinary service in the area.

I just took my 6 yr old cat for her first visit to Piedmont Vet, we moved to Hillsborough and have decided to make this her new vet! She can be feisty at the vet but Nicki was outstanding with her!! Dr Charles Geneczko was great and I left knowing she is in great hands!! Thank you so much !!

We've had a really good experience bringing our greyhound and elderly cat here. Highly recommend the practice, doctors and office staff are wonderful.

We've used PVC for more than twenty years, first for Otis, the worlds most remarkable cat, and now for Gus (the Schnoodle) who's been our constant companion, and ever vigilant protector of his mistress, since 2006. Dr. Mac and staff have provided top-notch care for all that time and we've been completely satisfied and recommend them without hesitation. Just today, we called to see if he could be seen and explained our concern about his unusual behavior and were told to bring him right in, even though they had a full schedule, they would have a look and call when he was ready. In just a couple of hours they called to say he was ready, and the Dr. would call to discuss the findings which. as it turned out, were the worst possible news. Gus had an inoperable growth and his time was short. All of our questions were answered and we were left with a clear understanding of the best way forward. I'm sorry the one star people had a bad day, but a few disgruntled reviews is only a part of the total picture.

We absolutely love Piedmont Vet Clinic. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted with friendly faces. Then you encounter more staff who are not only caring, but also knowledgeable and offer choices of appropriate treatment for pet illnesses.

Everyone here is so kind and helpful. During one of the roughest times in our lives, they were understanding and compassionate. Toby was our 2 y.o. pit. he had to be put down because of a brain tumor. Who new a little over a year later, Piedmont would have Forrest. A 1 y.o. American Pit Bull that needed a forever home. Crystal and the girls thought of me. And we made it happen. Cannot give high enough praise to Dr. Kipp, Crystal, and the rest of the staff. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommended! Me & Forrest love y'all!

We have been bringing our cats and dogs to Piedmont for a couple of years. We recently decided to find another local vet. Although I think the vets are skilled, the clinic is really not oriented towards its customers (people or pets). We found the front desk staff rude and very unhelpful. Bringing your pets into the Vets is hard enough but when the first people you encounter are on some sort of immature power trip in makes the whole experience really unbearable. Replace or retrain your front desk staff.

Today I took my dog Jax in and the staff was wonderful with him! Being his first time at a vet and hurting from a ear infection they were wonderful with handling him!
