The older women who likes leopard jackets who works here needs a serious attitude adjustment if she is going to be working a service job. I have been to this location at least 100 times. I will no longer use them as my preferred hair location. I hope that this franchise owner takes notice to this obvious need to retrain her older team member on customer service.

I have been getting my hair cut at this location exclusively for the last 3 or 4 years and have never had cause for complaint. The majority of the stylists are friendly, fast, and give a decent haircut.Unfortunately, my most recent experience was bad enough that I may not return. I was in about 3 weeks ago. I did not recognize the stylist, but something seemed abnormal the minute that she started to cut my hair. She held the clippers with two hands, applied a lot more pressure while buzzing the back and sides than I have experienced in the past, and generally gave the sense that she was uncomfortable or inexperienced with her tools.The back and sides took longer than normal but then when she reached the top she only made a few clips and spent what I would guess to be less than three minutes. She gave me a mirror but because my hair had been wetted and combed it appeared to be fine.When I got home and looked at it closer, I found it that all of the hair on the top was different lengths...At my neckline in the back, instead of just rounding it off as usual, she shaved nearly 2 inches up from the natural hairline and left it as an awkwardly straight line halfway up the back of my head.These things alone would not have compelled me to write a review. I can deal with a bad haircut. But within two days I broke out into two large staph infections at different parts of my hairline, complete with nasty festering blisters. I have not had one of these types of infections in over 20 years and never from a haircut that I received at a professional stylist. It is clear that the clippers and equipment were not properly cleaned, and the thought of having other people's bacteria rubbed into fresh abrasions on my scalp is repulive.I am leaving three stars because this is the only time I have had an issue with Great Clips, but I view hygiene to be a very big issue...

I love the two women who do my hair. Each stylist has different skills so you it's good to figure out which ones are best for you and to stick with them

I went to the chapel hill North location and I will not go back to that location. I went to the Hillsborough location and the stylist was very nice and she fixed with the person at the other location missed up. They had a rush of clients but maybe a 5 minute wait time at the most. She did a great job on my hair and I'm not going to another location again. Hillsborough is the right place for me.

Had been to this location before, had a great experience, returned for next haircut, not so good. Stylist seemed distracted, somewhat irritated after she asked what it was I wanted her to do that day. After I pointed out my areas I needed some work on, she told me that what my hair was doing was how it was going to be, and I would just have to deal with it. I asked her to make suggestions as to how to fix things and she said I think it looks ok and I would just have to let it continue. After a few snips here and there, I am left with a mess and now have to find someone to fix it. All she could worry about was a hair splinter she got! Guess I got what I paid for…Service: Haircut
