Soft serve ice cream is my absolute FAVORITE !!! We recently moved to Hillsborough and we could not be happier to find this little gem. A small little farm that we are glad to support. Give them a try - you will be so glad that you did.

Great find! Delicious homemade soft serve! Bring the kids, wander around the farm. They even sell vegetable plants - very reasonably priced. Pints are also available for take home. Friendly service, family run, dog friendly and just a great sweet treat!

I’m depressed I didn’t know about this in the summer and missed out on all of the fruity ice cream flavors. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but so worth it. Affordable and authentic. Can’t get enough of their soft serve and the farm is just adorable.

Love it.. not too sweet and that the way I like my ice cream. They change their flavors all the time and I can't decide what my favorite is. There is a really nice searing area too and you can sit down enjoy the watching the farm animals. It's a treasure to have in the neighborhood. Fun, family friendly and delicious ice creams. Not to mention they have fresh produce too.

Beautiful place! Alberto, Lola and I visited on our way back home after we went on a walk by the Eno. We’ll make a point to go every week and try a new flavor of soft served ice cream. The one with cranberry this week was outstanding! NextTime I’ll bring some other ice cream flavors home, and add some organic grown fruit and veggies to our purchase to help with my sugar guilt ? Thanks Brook for chatting with us. We were very impressed you knew about our country of origin and were interested in the current state of things. We missed taking photos, but will next time. Our hands were busy holding ice cream! Thanks you!!

The best Ice Cream hands down, and when it comes to your stomach… Doesn’t bother it at all. Plus the flavors are awesome, and I’m trying flavors I’ve haven seen in ice cream.

Very Good.It's a small self service an self pay place you can get ice cream, local vegetables, cheese and produce. No employees, so you need to honor the system.

Super good fig maple custard in a cone, get a small because the regular is too much. $4-$5 per. Had a hand washing station for after the custard melts on you. Small selection of red okra peppers and squash. Visited around 6 pm on a Friday. Cute small walkable farm area where you can see the dig trees, and old tractor, some goats, turkeys, and cows.

Produce looked fresh, many choices of ice cream in the freezer. Busy while we went so it is a popular spot. Not a full 5 stars because of the amount of bees there were by trash cans and around the farm stand. I am all for bees, but they were all around the eating areas and produce. We got our ice cream and left.

My visit to Broken Spoke Farm was a surprise. I thought there would be a larger selection of homegrown vegetables. There was a very small amount of vegetables, only a few items. I was not impressed, even disappointed, but then I walked over to the window and got an ice cream ?. Delicious. So, I guess that was worth the drive from Durham. There’s a little bit of a spooky feel around there, hard to explain. Don’t go for any vegetables. You will be disappointed. Don’t try to call either. They don’t answer. If you want a nice drive to get an excellent ice cream cone, I recommend Broken Spoke Farm.

I'd heard about this produce farm from a foodie page and their creative ice cream flavors, so we took a little drive to give it a try. What a lovely setting and the owner couldn't have been nicer! We got a twist cone of fresh homemade blueberry and sweet corn soft serve ice cream. Delicious!!
