“We were visiting Hillsborough from Charlotte, and this art gallery didn’t disappoint at all. The icing on the cake was that it showcased the work of 21 local artists.
The art pieces ran the gamut from metals, glass, painting, sculpture and so much more. We especially loved the art of Pat Merriman—her creations left us awestruck as we wondered how art ca move us so. The featured show “So much Color” was brilliant as well—so much color infused deftly in art pieces ranging from paintings to glass pieces.
The art pieces are available for purchase and there are other artsy items(including artsy postcards) for sale too. We enjoyed talking to the host too.
Overall, it was an afternoon well-spent at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area to get your art fix! Please check their hours before you visit.”
“Jason was a delight to work with. He walked us through every aspect of design in a process that was, quite remarkably, done from a distance via Zoom. We had several "design" meetings over many months until he came up with a design that we were looking for. Along the way, he was responsive highly professional and showed great follow-through. And the prize at the end was his beautiful sculpture in our backyard. Jason is a rare find--a talented artist and good businessman wrapped up in one. “The shop owner Xavier is very attentive and very professional about the needs of the client and the piece which is going to be framed. He has a wonderful sense of color bringing out the highlights of the art piece with the mat. The matting was professionally done as well as glass. The framing was completed and I was able to pick up the gift at the promise day and time. I highly recommend Yesterday and Today Frame Shop.”
