Such a wonderful store! There are so many different hand made items, all of which were meticulously made. I fully recommend visiting for a refreshing and respectful taste of Turkey. ?? ??

The purse we bought from this store on July 4th, 2024 is not real leather (picture attached as reference for potencial customers). What a scam!! The owner or employee took advantage of us by delivering the simple lie of “it is“lamb’s skin” $90 for a purse made of fabric is dishonest. Conning and deceiving customers for profit is dishonest. Next time we will be more careful because money is hard to earn.
Tip: when you are looking with detail at your desired item and the employee comes and takes it from your hands and tells you that you need to calm down,it is time to walk away. That was my silly mistake, I didn’t walk away.

Very disheartened to be giving this review; I've visited this store multiple times over the years and was eager to share the unique experience with my partner. Unfortunately this context is necessary: I am white and my partner is black. We were enjoying our time in the store until we began to be followed through the store, noticeably and continuously, until we exited the front door. This did not occur for any other customers in the store and the body language and actions of the employee were very unwelcoming and prejudice/racist. I'm sharing this for the people that would like to avoid these situations when possible or for those who do not want to support businesses with this behavior. I remember this employee from previous visits and he did not act this way before when I was with friends of other races. I recommend this business check their internal biases - not only is this assumption and behavior extremely hurtful, it's negatively impacting your profits. I will not be visiting here again and I hope anyone reading this will consider the same.

What a beautiful store! We bought gorgeous Turkish earrings and a burgundy and turquoise embroidered wrap! What struck us most was the kindness, generosity and genuineness of the owner. We spoke to him for 15 minutes and he discussed love, community, and sharing. We left with beautiful items and thankful hearts! Go visit this gem of a human! He, like his store, is colorful and lovely!

If you're in the Highlands North Carolina you have to check this place out! I honestly could spend a day in there. They have everything from home decor to little knickknacks, botanicals, essential oils, Beautiful jewelry... I could go on and on. I just wish she would open one in South Florida!!

I stopped into Unique Elegance on a whim, because I saw some absolutely gorgeous tapestry in their windows. What I found inside was even better. I found lots of tribal style jewelry, lots of jewelry that relates to my hobby of bellydance and lots of other eye catching ephemera. Once inside, the owner was all too happy to help me out. He even cut me a deal on a very lovely coin necklace. It was lovely to speak with him on the subject of Middle Eastern dance.

Besides the fact that the store is amazing, the owner is personable, nice, and is dripping with knowledge. If you take the time to talk to him about Turkey and his store, you won't regret it.
