This is a family owned business. They are very knowledgeable about the gems and they make you feel welcomed as soon as you step in the door! This is my birthstone from the garnet I panned for.

We visited Jackson Hole Gem Mine and had a wonderful experience. My kids, age 6 & 8 absolutely loved it. We ended up buying another bucket during the same trip. After the mining portion you learn what stones/gems were found. My daughter chose one of the stones to be cut and it turned out to be a beautiful necklace/keepsake. We will definitely be back!

Great little operation where everyone was super nice. If you like dogs, added bonus reason to stop. There was a pack of five friendly ones behind the counter craving pats and scratches. This was a really fun stop for our 7 y/o.

We were greeted very professionally as soon as we walked in the door. We were out of town and got engaged on our trip and needed a ring guard. He sized me while I was there and wanted to make sure my ring was the perfect fit! With being away from home we completely trusted him and we felt valued! Highly recommend this jewelry store!

Fun store with super-friendly owners (and dogs!).
We stopped in today as we drove past on a driving waterfall tour. They have a great selection of gem stones, geodes and books etc. They also have the most beutiful selection of wind chimes, cut from stone that sound amazing. Everything seemed to be really well priced and great value for money.
It looks like they have a great kid freindly prospecting section too, but we didn't try that today.
The owners were happy to chat and we spent a great thirty minutes with them today talking and petting their dogs!
A wonderful stop.

Absolutely AWESOME! The owners of this place are so nice and so knowledgeable! We bought a $50 bucket and found so many great rocks and crystals! The lady knew every one and as we would uncover them in our sifters as the water washed away the sand. There were even rocks that I thought were just gravel rocks that she identified as some Kool rocks! We found, I think, 6 fairly heavy rubies and so many other types. There was a rose quartz that was so pink!
They also have animals on the property. There were goats that we got to feed. They had 3 baby goats that were adorable!! We didn't scare them into fainting but they are fainting goats! LoL
There were also bunnies! And the mommy bunny had 2 babies! One was younger than the other and didn't even have its eyes open yet.
If you're wanting to adopt a bunny and you're thinking about visiting this place, you can get one of their bunnies, as some are available for adoption and they are all so tame and nice!
Oh! They also have a gift shop!!
I definitely recommend going here! The little town of Dillard is a nice place to visit and see the sights so make a weekend of it!!

I absolutely LOVED Jackson Hole Gem Mine! My boyfriend and I each got the medium sized buckets and had a blast sifting them. Then, we took advantage of their cutting and polishing service and we had a ring made out of one of our stones! It arrived today (just under a week later!!) and it’s ridiculously gorgeous. I could not be more happy with my experience here.

Fun place to take the kids and for the adults. Grab a bucket of sand and go to the water trough and see what kind of cool rocks/gems you have.Lots of cool rocks, geos, etc, to look over and purchase.Parking is limited and situated on a Blind curve. Dangerous.Friendly staff. Again, it's a fun stopover.
