I’ve been with Woodforest for several years, until today I’ve never had a problem. The staff there keeps getting younger and less knowledgeable. I will stay with Woodforest for now because they do offer low fees and good interest rates but I will no longer use this particular branch. I’ll drive the extra miles and go to WS branch from now on.

DO NOT WORK FOR THESE WYPIPO!! They don’t care about you as a worker. They over work you and USE YOU and only pay $16 an hour when we do WAY MORE WORK AND PUT UP WITH MORE THAN A TRADITIONAL Bank !!

Worse bank ever. Talking about rude people. I got so busy with the business and finally getting enough in the business account to pay myself I took 3 payroll checks - my company, paying me the president of the company, to Woodforest and when I finally got to the counter some woman gave some angry look like I was bothering her - I thought she said "what you want"? but maybe I misunderstood - anyway told me I'd have to wait then when she had time to see the 3 checks I had to deposit told me it was above her limit not saying her manager could - argued with her a bit and said she was going to call security - WHAT??? I have an account at the bank trying to put money in their bank ! they treated me like I was trying to rob it or something - crazy and rude people!

Wonderful Manager. Miranda. She is wasted at this 'hoopty bank'. The are working in the dark ages. Also financial services Raymond James Inc has 157 disclosure issues filed against them. Hmmm. Great bank if you are 18 and it's your first account. Hoopty.

You guys are always messing with someone's money. The time when I need money soon you guys don't want to give it because it will put me over my limit. I wish someone would run y'all out of town for GOOD. If there was a no star button that's what y'all would get

Unsatisfying you can't get a loan under $5,000. Like when do you tell people how much they need? Your getting your money back so what does it matter I'm still with them. When I get time so switching to another bank!

This company provides similar services that you can literally get from “Walmart Money Center†they just call themselves a bank NOT! There are plenty of banks out there that have very knowledgeable employees who care and value your business. If you're looking for a bank even with a bad credit DON'T settle for this bank. Wells Fargo and PNC can also help if you have negative things on your banking history. Take my advice and stay away from this so called bank! They like to nickel and dime people. They LOVE fees

So I went by the bank to have a check cashed and the manager told me if I opened an account then they could cash my checks for free and make funds immediately available as long as I kept my account. She said there was no fee if I kept a minimum account balance of 100$, Awesome(I thought). So I opened an account and here we go. A couple months later I bring in a check to cash and Here we go, I am sorry, we cannot cash this check, we can give you half now and half when the check clears in a few days(keep in mind this is a computer printed check from a national company that is locally owned). I told them this was not acceptable and then the Bank Mgr. came over to help. She told me that I did not have enough activity on my account to cash the check and there was nothing that she could do. I said that is ok ill just close my account because this is the reason that i opened it in the first place and if they were not going to do what they said it was a waste for me to keep it opened. She acted like she didn't really care and said ok, picked up a form for me to fill out and gave me my money that was in the account. Done! Nope, a day later i get an email for an overdraft of 7$ for check cashing fee. Called customer service and they said sorry we cant reverse fees, you have to go to the branch manager for that, we can call when they open and see if they can do something. Umm Nooo, i was not supposed to be charged the fee so I want it removed now!, So after almost 20 minutes and a supervisor they begrudgingly removed the charge, I will not be going back to this bank and don't suggest anyone else go either. If you have crappy credit and write bad checks and no other option then by all means they will take you. But if you don't want to be lied to and charged for things that you should not be then i would look elsewhere.
