Our experience with David French at Vann York GMC was nothing short of exceptional. David and team worked on the purchase of a new vehicle for us remotely to get the deal we wanted on a new truck. We had medical procedures that prevented us from visiting the dealership in person and David went the extra mile to insure we were able to complete the deal. When we were able to visit the dealership to take possession of the vehicle David made sure that we were totally comfortable with all aspects of the transaction. He spent all the time we needed to understand the features and functions of the new GMC. Top notch purchase experience.

Service Dept is mediocre.
_IF_ you can get someone on the phone, they are polite. Most of the time it just rings to voicemail or an off-shore call center.
I've had 2 services within 10 days, the second because they didn't do the first one correctly. Had I not been rushing to get out the door so late in the day, I might have noticed it wasn't right.
Both times, I called ahead to schedule when they had openings. It took several attempts to get to a real, live, person on location. But once I got someone on the phone, scheduling was polite and easy.
Both times, I scheduled when they had an 8:00 am appointment available. I dropped off early and said I needed it back by 1:00 pm. They did give me a shuttle ride up the street to work and the driver was friendly.
But for both morning appointments, they didn't touch my vehicle until the very end of the day, so both times, I missed afternoon meetings. 1:00 came and went without anything.
The second time, as it got late in the day, I tried calling to check on the status. Same as usual, "Let me transfer you to your service advisor..." Ring, ring, ring...voicemail. I left a message. Later I tried again. This time I was answered by someone sitting in Beijing, China. I called again...voicemail. Again...finally the service advisor.
So both times I dropped off, around 8am, do be ready by 1:00 pm. Both times I was rushing to get out their door at 5:15 pm.
For future service work, I'll go elsewhere. For future dealer-required work like a recall, I'll probably try a different dealership. I definitely wouldn't waste an entire day for anything like an oil change or tire rotation. No telling how long those could take.

The worst service I ever experienced and when you go over there they pretend they're busy to ignoring you and when you ask for any proof of documents or paperwork they just make some excuses when you call they don't answer and they do that just to keep you money amd make you waste your time
