This Shell gas station is connected to the Sam's Mart #107 convenience store and McDonald's at the corner of Westchester Dr and Burton Ave in south High Point. It's next door to Westchester Center, the shopping center with Food Lion, CVS, and Family Dollar. Shell generally has high gas prices, but those high prices can be offset for free if you use the app GetUpside. Depending on the day, you can get varying amounts of "cash back" from your Shell gas purchases by using the app. I put "cash back" in quotes because the cash back comes in the form of gift cards from vendors like Amazon, Lowe's, Home Depot, Target, and Walmart. Use my referral code DANIEL66482, if you want an extra $0.15 per gallon cash back (one-time use) and an extra $0.01 per gallon cash back for every gallon you buy in the future. I sound like an ad, but there really are no gimmicks. Enjoy the free savings while they last (I'm not sure how GetUpside makes money). This Shell station has eight pumps and it's fine -- just your run-of-the-mill Shell station. I used pump #8 and had no issues. Paper towels were stocked and my receipt printed clearly. I filled up on "Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline," but after about 20 years driving the same car consuming premium fuel mainly from QuikTrip and Costco, I've noticed no difference nor needed to have any work done to my car because of the gas I used. As long as I fill up on premium (what's recommended for my car), I've had zero issues. A plus for this Shell is the aforementioned attached McDonald's. It's got a double drive-thru.

The worst customer service ever I paid for gas and did not pump it I went in the store very politely and asked for my gas the lady was very rude saying that's not her problem that I had to file a report to run back their cameras because somebody else pumped my gas it's sad cause I know from working at a gas station that they have a fund for this type of simple little mishaps . I said to the manager when someone pays for something and they don't get it that's stealing right he says yes so I said your just gonna steal my money he said I'm hanging up on you smh

fantabulous, i forgot my violet at home, came to store for cigarette and gas and i realized i dont have violet, behind me there were like 7 people, the guy looked straight into my eyes smiled and said, its ok pay me tomorrow or next time you come to the store. The next day i asked him why did you do that, he replied these 19 dollars are nothing in comparison with the business you have given to us in 4 years, and you deserve it. it means a lot to me.

Every time I go into the Shell by my house and use a debit card they charge my card TWICE!!!! This has happened MULTIPLE times. I have called and gotten my money back from my cardholder. I have spoken with the attendants at the gas station and it STILL happens. I’m not worried about the money, I’m worried about all the other people they use to get this scam!! How many other people are y’all stealing money from and they don’t notice?!?! It’s a scam and this place should QUIT STEALING PEOPLES MONEY!!!

Horrible customer service. All the cashier did was watch a video on their phone.

I will be going to social media with this as well. I come to this store a lot being that I live in the neighborhood. I came to put my very last 8.00 dollars in gas which would of covered me until payday. I gave my last including change to the cashier and pumped my gas. Pump 7. When I got in the car my gas hand didn't move at all, in fact it said 7 miles until empty. When I left to come to the gas station thus morning, it said I was on 8 miles until empty. Something obviously was wrong. I went back into the store and to my surprise, the cashier was very rude about it and stated oh well and there is nothing he can do about it. I in no way causing a scene or trying to get over on anybody but simply wanted to know who do i speak with on this. He continued to throw hia hands in the air and say there is nothing he can do. This was a surprise on how he was acting because as I stated ,i come there often and had plenty of friendly transactions with him. I asked for the manager and immediately he STORMED out from the back yelling loudly and angry. He didn't ask a single question or even know what was fully going on. He belittled me and embarrassed me in front of another customer yelling from no where for me to get off his property and if I need assistance call the number on the pump. Now though the cashier was rude, he wasn't yelling. I thought I could of been more civil with the manager. He literally came out from the back office yelling and turning red in the face and I hadn't said a single word. He then STORMS off back into the office as the cashier and I continued to talk and he tried to be more rational since his manager came out and was viciously rude. He then came back out repeatingly yelling leave the property. I didn't want any issues and knowing his culture background that he doesn't respect women and a black woman at that I left. But with no customer service or any attempts to resolve the issue. I even offered for him to come look and my gas hand. There is no way possible I gained 8.00 in gas and it's still the same as when I pulled in. Instead of looking into the issue because there is obviously something wrong with theyre pump, they were very rude and told me to leave the property. I will go above and beyond to express my concern about this franchise. That was my last to get me to and from work. Now I had to call out!!! I wont even eat at the mcdonalds there just because they are associated!! Franchises think they can do they're customers any kind of way
